In April of 2016 Alan let us know he wanted to buy a Honky Tonk! We closed on 421 Broadway on August 22, 2016……when he bought “my” bar…the bar where I hung out! We opened the doors on October 5, 2016….10yrs later and it’s still the place I want to hang out at. I LOVE THIS BAR…..what it stands for….the music that’s played and the people that work here! Tonight we got to celebrate our 10 year anniversary! I’ve met sooo many people at this bar and made so many great friends! taken in AJ's Good Time Bar by @abbersonline

We had the Grand Opening of the @silverbellywhiskey Distillery & @alanjacksonmuseum last night. I’m so proud of how this place turned out! It was A LOT of work….late nights, early mornings and weekends…..but it was worth it! The goal of the museum was to showcase Alan’s career and legacy…and I think we did it! It’s very humbling to stand in the room knowing I got to be a part of the career & museum! taken in Alan Jackson Museum by @abbersonline

About last night - in 1996 I skipped school to get in line to get tickets for Garth Brooks at Market Square Arena…we ended up being like 3 rows from the top at the opposite end of the arena….and it was phenomenal!!! Last night I got to see him again in Indy and it was again phenomenal!! IYKYK Garth played a huge roll in me moving to Nashville! What a show……….hit after hit! taken in Gainbridge Fieldhouse by @abbersonline

It has taken me a few days to recover and try to come up with the right words (sorry for the long post). Saturday night I got to witness a Legend of Country Music walk off the stage for the final time. Just getting to see the show was incredible but being a small part of the behind the scenes is something I’ll never forget.

I came to town 26 years ago with a dream to get a job in the music industry (with no clue what i wanted to do or how to do it)….it’s overwhelmingly humbling to say…..I did it. I never dreamed I’d spend 23 years working with an Icon and be able to literally say I was standing side stage when he stepped of the stage for the last time.

It meant the world to me to be able to share it with my family and friends….even if i didn’t get to say hi to most of you - just knowing you were there warmed my heart!

To Alan….congratulations doesn’t even seem big enough. What an amazing career…not many get to say they are Legendary & Iconic Artists! It has truly been an honor to be apart of it! taken in Nissan Stadium by @abbersonline
