My world forever changed in the best way just a few minutes before 4am early Tuesday morning. It’s true what I’ve heard from so many and it’s really not hyperbolic to say there’s no other love like this. So incredibly grateful for a healthy, beautiful baby girl and the real life superhero that is her mother. My love and appreciation for her has grown exponentially profound. Thank you to everyone who wished us well going into this and congratulations on coming out. It makes it even more special to be able to share this experience with you. I love you all.

[a day late] one year ago I got to marry my best friend. I definitely didn’t get all the pictures I wanted to, forgot to give a hug to someone, was peeing during a song I promised myself I’d dance to, but it still was one of the best days of my life and I wouldn’t change a thing. Not even the torrential downpour or heavy winds that made our day even more special. So many people we care about came together under a tent on a field to watch us become husband and wife. One month into the new year, and I’m still looking back on 2023. What a year it was. It was fast, happy, bittersweet, eventful, painful, and memorable for so many reasons.

People that were close to my heart were taken too soon, and many friends became mothers and fathers of beautiful new babies. I said goodbye to the classroom for now, to return to nannying and continue my studies in early education and early childhood trauma. I planned a 250 person wedding. I was spoiled on a dream bachelorette weekend with life long friends, and oh yeah, I got married to “the boy next door,” who I now couldn’t imagine life without.

I’m still in disbelief that out of 21 girls invited, 17 were able to make it. 🫣 there was nothing but belly laughs, dancing, cuddles, and years of stories from so many friendships through my life. You all mean so much to me, and I can’t thank you enough for the love you showed me. (Even those who couldn’t make it.)

Big shout out to my lovely MOHs @hayl.roberts and @brianna_davies for organizing this crazy group! And putting so much thought behind every piece. And of course @martazzollini @teoazzollini and @martaskitchenmv for the CHEEEESEEE (and much more). 😉
