Officially a week postgrad and I can confidently say that choosing Texas A&M was the best decision I ever made.

Jesus met me here and gave me a community to lean on while walking hand and hand with Him—a gift I could never deserve but will always be grateful for. I was so lost when I started my freshman year, but I sought the Lord and He heard and He answered. He delivered me from sin and gave me eternal life through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I am now made new, clean because of the blood of The Lamb. My story was rewritten by the Creator of the universe, the One who holds the moon and the stars in His hands. I am overwhelmed with gratitude that the Lord lead me to this university, a place He knew I’d find Him. Hosanna in the highest!

Thank you Jesus for Aggie Muster—

It is a privilege to be an Aggie. A privilege to know that when this life on Earth is over, thousands will gather to answer “Here.” for you. I realized this privilege after losing three dear friends of mine: Ella, Aidan, and Joyce. They were not Aggies, but their lives have made me a better one. Their spirits ignited the flame that I carried throughout this year, serving on the Muster Committee. A committee of the best people I have met at Texas A&M. A committee that serves this incredible thing we call Muster. Their legacies are what pushed me to walk with other grieving families with empathy and respect. Reminders of their friendships showed up when I shared laughs and cried on the shoulders of my fellow committee members. This tradition has shaped who I am and has shifted the deepest parts of my soul to love and serve people better every day. It all happened because of three amazing friends whose legacies embody what it means to love and serve others well. What it means to be an Aggie. I hope that I live to see the day where every single university pauses for a few hours, once a year and says “Here.” for the students that did not make it to graduation. Everyone deserves to be answered for.
