‘nothing changes’ the EP out now
listen here ⬇️

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

so that’s it, the last abbot ep is out. and see? nothing changes, but i did, and that’s all thanks to you. the last 7 years of my life have been fully dedicated to this project; obsessing over my presentation and constantly critiquing my art and my growth. in that pursuit of perfection i found myself frozen, with all these songs and none of them being good enough. to let go is liberating, but it’s also frightening. part of me feels like this is goodbye; a goodbye to all the friends i’ve made, to the audience i’ve been blessed with, and to my old self. but abbot didn’t make those friends, and abbot didn’t make those songs. i did. so thank you for being a part of my life. i don’t know what comes next, but i’m eager for it. no goodbyes, just until next time.

P.S. some of these photos are so old i forget who took them and that’s my bad. but you already know it’s either @noojnet or @hellenmadeitt <3

We are saying goodbye with a tour.

After 5 years, we’ve decided to end the Anything Could Be Here project. We can’t thank you enough for being a part of this journey. You all basically grew up with us! When we started Anything Could Be Here, we went from throwing ideas at the wall in our Philly college dorms to playing in front of hundreds of you. We saw support we couldn’t even properly conceive, and witnessed a beautiful community form. To have our art heard and seen by so many of you is more than we could have ever asked for, and we’re grateful for it every day. You’ve helped us live out our dreams.

Time passes, people grow, and life goes on. We’ve grown into our own individuals as artists and as people. After all this, we’re looking forward to new experiences and ways of sharing our art. We hope you’ll join us for one last beautifully confusing ride.

Anything Could Be Here, and we’re glad you’ve been a part of it.

With Love,

Ryan, Avi, and Ant by @abbotwdm
