I made it out in one piece & injury free.🙏🏽 This meet was to get myself back out there before the year was over & just see how things went. Part of me was so excited to be back on the platform, but was also terrified of getting hurt again. I was SO nervous the morning of & was internally freaking out.😅 I managed to get it together though , push through mentally & come out with some PR’s! My squat & bench carried my total, my dead’s may not be back to where they used to be… YET, but I’m happy I got past the fears & did the damn thing. I’m excited to build in the off season & continue to better myself. I’m so thankful for everyone in my corner who has supported me & been on this journey with me. I appreciate y’all more than you know! Special thank you to my man (@quartersquat_cam ) for coaching me through this & handling me on meet day… I know I’ve stressed you out, lol, but I’m thankful you put up with me & never stopped believing in me. I love youuuu!🩷 #powerlifting #girlswhopowerlift #uspa #theprimaleffect by @abbsssn10

•• Meet recap (literally a whole week later😅) •• WRPF American Pro 2 6/9 - 868# total - 478 dots - 115# bwt Squats: 308#⚪️, 324#⚪️, 336#🔴(called for depth) Bench: 165#⚪️, 175#🔴(butt came up), 181#⚪️ Deadlift: 342#⚪️, 363#⚪️, 386#🔴(A for effort💀) Overall it was a great day & such a dope experience to be on the “Pro” stage! It was truly such an amazing meet to be a part of. Thank you to @micah_marino & @ana_smash for putting an event like this together! I had so much fun. Also, a big thank you to all the spotters & loaders, & just everyone else in general who helped with the meet. Y’all are truly appreciated!! Unfortunately, my weight cut didn’t go as planned & I missed weight by 1lb, which put me in the meet as a guest lifter. It was my biggest weight cut to date (about 8lbs). I’m proud of myself for getting through it though and not giving up. It was a hard lesson learned, but one that I will use to grow & better myself from. I made the most of my situation & was very thankful that I was still able to lift despite the circumstances. I’m thankful for everyone that was in my corner the whole time & who never let me feel down about it. Thank ya’ll for being here for me & cheering me on. Getting a feel for the big stage makes me super excited to work harder and come back better & stronger next year. Glory to God always!🩷🤞🏽 by @abbsssn10

Happy Heavenly Birthday, mom 🩷🕊️ I miss & love you more than words could ever express. by @abbsssn10
It’s hard to believe it’s been a month already since you went to your forever home; got called to be with Our Lord. While I selfishly wish you were here, I’m at peace knowing you are no longer in pain & suffering. I pray that I become as great of a woman as you were. Thank you for being such an inspiration. I miss & love you so much, Mom. 🪽❤️‍🩹🩷 P.S. this was one of her favorite songs 🥹 by @abbsssn10
Non-lifting post, but I’ve been having so much fun being my man’s model lately! ✨🌸📸 Thank you for always making me feel beautiful & confident on & off camera. Watching you grow in your photography journey & seeing how passionate you are about it has been such a blessing. I’m so proud of you & I’m grateful that you let me be part of the process! #photoshoot #photography by @abbsssn10
•PLU Big Tex Classic• Weighed in at 56.6kg Totaled: 841 lbs DOTS: 440 Glory to God always! ✝️ I jumped into this meet last minute with the intentions of doing the bare minimum & using it to qualify for Nationals (but, it sold out before I could even try).☹️😅 I decided to go ahead and go through with the meet anyway & do what I needed to do to secure the overall win & get myself a new belt.🤪🙌 Squat: 3/3 314 lbs Bench: 2/3 175 lbs DL: 2/3 352 lbs (first time pulling hook grip in comp). Was really hoping to get the chance to pull 3reds, but my thumbs slipped on my 2nd attempt, so we played it safe. Huge thank you to @_felixflores for stepping in to handle me while my man was busy being the Meet Photographer! I appreciate all your help & I felt honored to represent @trainrelentlessllc 🫡 And of course a thank you to @bigtexgym for hosting & allowing @plunited_tx to run an amazing meet with amazing spotters & judges! Still sad we didn’t get a picture, but last, but not least…. Thank you to my man for always putting up with me & helping me grow. I’m not sure when I’ll compete again, so for now I’ll enjoy a long off season. Time to put in some work @quartersquat_cam 🙏🏽 #powerlifting #powerlifter #gwpl #powerliftingunited #glorytogod by @abbsssn10

About 5 weeks out 🫠🤩 I’m so excited to be stepping back onto the platform! It’s been a year since my last prep or competition… craaaazy how fast time goes by. 😅 This prep is going to be a lot of learning, growing, & seeing what I’m capable of. Feeling so extremely grateful to God for my health & for being able to get back out on the platform. 🩷✝️ #liftingreels #primalstrengthsa #powerlifting #girlswhopowerlift #evolvehumanlabs #USPA #pioneer #avancus #phil413 by @abbsssn10
