Truly honored to be chosen as a Chautauqua 11. Though the plaque is inscribed with my name, this award is truly a testament to the community around me. The people who day in and day out help me show up and give me purpose in being a leader.

I feel so grateful to be overwhelmed with love and gratitude for not only the individuals in these photos but for every person at TXST that gave me a home and a family. From the people I see everyday to the friends I get excited to run into on the quad.

I think back to the person I was when I started Texas State and I know that the growth i’ve had is a direct result of the incredible people I have met. They have taught me patience, mentorship, the power of “yes”, how to show up, and most importantly what it looks like to make an impact without wanting your name attached. taken in Texas State University by @abby_notgail
