Turns out if you spend almost a decade making games and quietly doing voices in a closet, eventually someone notices.
I’m now with @atlas_talent for voiceover: games, animation, character work. Booking through them.
Thank you to Heather Dame and the whole Atlas team: the polish and professionalism over there is genuinely something. And to @voicechick , @katianasarkissian and @topherngomusic + more, who I now get to call roster-mates. (Amazing performers and folks I know through @usc.games, @southcarolinanewplayfest + more!) The talent on this list is absurd. Very happy to be among them & for the future. taken in Burbank, California by @abby_sherlock

Excited to be talking about games alongside @itsgaylen, @bakershah and @jazzieburr_ with some of the themes I care most about: player trust, the incredible developers who make them and the creator community that amplifies them 👾 Thanks for having me on this incredible panel @forbes @forbesunder30 @zoyahasan! xoxo #forbes30under30 #under30summit

“the cosplay blew up and everything changed after that.”
got to sit down with @serinideirl at #BlizzCon about the D.Va cosplay that went viral, a lifelong love of @warcraft and the friendships that came out of the @playoverwatch community 🩷 and it’s all thanks to @blizzard
the part that got me: these games didn’t just give her a career in social media: they gave her her people. that’s the thing nobody tells you about fandom: it’s not really about the games. it’s about who you find there. #cosplay #overwatch #worldofwarcraft #dva taken in Anaheim Convention Center by @abby_sherlock

Our @officialpax_ West panel wasn’t streamed, and roughly 130 (???) of you asked if it would be. So I did the reasonable thing and wrote down everything we said. Career advice for entry and mid-level game devs, from people who are actually there rn: Link in bio on Substack taken in Seattle, Washington by @abby_sherlock

okay Seattle you had NO business being this good (& i’m sorry for being so late)

started the week touring @nintendoamerica and ended it on a @officialpax_ panel I’m sooooo proud of: (Bad) Advice for Early-Career Marginalized Developers, with nearly a full room!

my 2nd PAX West, 3rd overall, and easily the best. Artist Alley was gorgeous, @aggrocrab threw a banger party, and I got to catch up with old friends who I’ve missed so much.
thank you @noor_j_amin for moderating like a pro, and @impuuuu, @minikitty.tv & @liao.ava for being the best panel to sit next to. and thank you @reedpop for having us 🖤
takeaways from the panel dropping on substack soon: the advice worth keeping and the advice worth tossing. taken in Seattle Convention Center by @abby_sherlock

“i have been called, i must answer.” 🛡️ty @playoverwatch reinhardt

#BlizzCon2026 was like coming home. I spent the weekend talking to the devs and fans who make @blizzard happen: production, recruiting, marketing, and more. questions nobody usually gets to ask but honestly? the best part was running into old peers and remembering the power of community+ relationships games have brought into my life.

At #Blizzcon all this upcoming weekend with Forge the Future: a program built to get people access into this industry and I’ll be interviewing with some of the best in the biz across multiple disciplines. I’ll be talking to developers + creatives across production, voice over and more! Same opening question for all three: how did you actually get here?

And I would be genuinely shocked to get the same answer twice. That’s why I wanted a lineup instead of one conversation. I can’t tell you which door is yours. I can show you there’s more than one!

Last call on questions! And if you’re going to be there, come say hi. 💙👇 taken in Anaheim Convention Center by @abby_sherlock

I’m heading to #BlizzCon next week! I’ll be there with their Forge the Future initiative sitting down with @blizzard devs and creatives: folks who decide who gets to make them and a few voices you might absolutely recognize.

If you could ask the folks there one question, what would it be? ❄️💙 #esports #gaming #gamedev taken in Anaheim Convention Center by @abby_sherlock
