Spent the afternoon at Olive Ateliers sourcing pieces for a client project. This is the part of the job I never get tired of. 🤎 taken in Los Angeles, California by @timmytayo

If your space feels “nice but unfinished,” read this.

If your home feels a little flat or too neutral, it’s usually not missing furniture, it’s missing color. Not loud, trendy color. The kind that adds depth, warmth, and that collected, expensive feeling.

Here’s where I’d start:

🌿 Olive green — earthy + calm
🍷 Deep burgundy — instant richness
🤎 Chocolate brown — grounded + timeless
🧡 Terracotta — warm + handmade
🍇 Muted plum — unexpected + elegant

My tip? Don’t use all five. Pick one or two that pull at you and add them in slowly, a pillow, a piece of art, a lampshade. That’s how a room starts to feel intentional instead of decorated.

Which one are you adding first? 👇
