If your space feels “nice but unfinished,” read this.

If your home feels a little flat or too neutral, it’s usually not missing furniture, it’s missing color. Not loud, trendy color. The kind that adds depth, warmth, and that collected, expensive feeling.

Here’s where I’d start:

🌿 Olive green — earthy + calm
🍷 Deep burgundy — instant richness
🤎 Chocolate brown — grounded + timeless
🧡 Terracotta — warm + handmade
🍇 Muted plum — unexpected + elegant

My tip? Don’t use all five. Pick one or two that pull at you and add them in slowly, a pillow, a piece of art, a lampshade. That’s how a room starts to feel intentional instead of decorated.

Which one are you adding first? 👇

Spent the afternoon at Olive Ateliers sourcing pieces for a client project. This is the part of the job I never get tired of. 🤎 taken in Los Angeles, California by @studiobwithabby

Some pieces aren’t just furniture, they’re functional works of art.

Hand-forged iron, soft textiles, and sculptural silhouettes that bring old-world craftsmanship into modern interiors. These are the kinds of details that make a space feel collected rather than decorated.

Which piece are you bringing home first? 👇

Walked through @gallerylonefox the other day and was reminded why I do what I do. Every single corner of this store is exactly what I mean when I say intentional. The textures, the pieces, the way it all feels collected, not curated. Pure inspiration.

This is what shopping for your home should feel like. 🤎 taken in Los Angeles, California by @studiobwithabby

If you’re not thinking about hardware, you’re leaving the easiest upgrade on the table. Swapping out pulls and knobs is a one-hour project that completely transforms how a space feels. More intentional, more elevated, more you.

These are the styles I keep coming back to: aged brass, sculptural shapes, mixed materials. The kind of details that make people ask who designed your space.

Lighting is the one thing most people skip and it’s usually what’s making your space feel off. These three brands have options at every price point, so there’s something no matter your budget. All linked on my LTK. 🕯️

The console table struggle is real. Too empty, too cluttered, or just… off. Here’s my go-to formula that actually works: start with height, layer in texture, and always leave breathing room. I’ll walk you through it. 🤎
