hi hi!!! I figured it was time for a lil intro 🫶🏼🌞🌸✨🏔️😚I’m abby - the gal behind the camera. I’ve filmed + photographed weddings for almost 7 years now, and I truly just keep falling more and more in love with this job. capturing love around the world has provided me with the sweetest opportunities for adventure and connection with others, and I can’t imagine doing anything else!!! -I live in Virginia with my husband, Ryan, and our pup, Koda. Ryan and I got married this past June in an intimate backyard wedding at my parent’s beach house, and it was undoubtedly the best day of my life. The way Ryan loves me deeply impacts the way I capture love. I know firsthand the relentless joy, unbridled laughter, and inevitable happy tears that come along with marrying your favorite person in the world - and I love noticing and capturing each of those sweet, special moments for my own couples. -I do the NYT Wordle, Connections, and Crossword puzzle every day and am entirely too competitive about it. -I just submitted my audition tape to be on the show Survivor!!! It has been a dream of mine for yearssss and I’m so stoked to give it a go.🤞🏼-I have 7 younger siblings!! Growing up as the oldest of 8 kids has profoundly shaped who I am, and my sibs are the freaking best. -I have never had a cup or coffee or a salad!!-I am thoroughly obsessed with Taco Bell. My signature drink at my wedding reception was a Baja Blast with vodka, and it was delish. You’ll catch me at the local TB on all of my trips!! -I want to read 50 books this year!! addicted to my kindle 💅🏼-my top 5 on Spotify wrapped for 2023 were Caamp, JP Saxe, Mt Joy, Noah Kahan, + Josiah and the Bonnevilles-I have been to 18 countries and 17 national parks. 🌞🏔️🌸 -I am so excited about life. you will often catch me literally jumping with joy. I am deeply enthusiastic about my couples and their days, and love rooting them on!!! Lindsey + Dariel, and vows exchanged on the rain-soaked doorstep of an Irish castle. I had joyfully anticipated this wedding for almost two years, and it was beyond anything I could have possibly dreamed up. So thankful to have been invited into the elation and emotion of this day. a bluebird day for these two 🕊️❄️when Rachel told me her and Austin wanted a snowy elopement day in the San Juan Mountains, I was instantly on board. we could have never known, though, just how lucky we’d get - over a foot of fresh snow beneath our feet and the clearest, warmest blue sky above us. it was one of those days where I can’t believe this is my job. Gracie + Jared, on the Oregon coast 🕊️✨🎞️From the towering Redwoods to a windy seaside bluff, these two explored every bit of what Brookings has to offer. They got ready in the most charming cottage right on the ocean and then headed into the forest to exchange vows. We did portraits along the coastline and even ate their wedding cake while nestled in the tall grass behind the beach. Their day was full of Oregon coast magic, and full of little signs reminding them they were exactly where they should be. One example was the tree they exchanged vows in front of - after the ceremony we realized that the one giant tree they had picked was actually two trees that had grown into one. Their roots had begun to grow together, just like in a marriage. Some people just feel like instant lifelong friends, and these two definitely made me feel that way. Until our paths cross again!! nestled amongst the Swiss Alps on a foggy June day, Hannah and Connor exchanged their vows. 🏔️✨🎞️we explored every bit of Grindelwald - starting at their gorgeous Chalet in the mountainside, taking a gondola up to the foggy peaks, and wandering through town to exchange their vows. in true Switzerland fashion, they were surrounded only by Swiss cows and locals biking past as they committed to forever. we ended the day with fondue back at the chalet after their backyard ceremony with family, and it was just all so intimate and relaxed.getting to capture not only their love for each other, but also for their adorable little boy, was so so sweet. he filled the day with giggles, and kept us all in the moment. a day that began in a seaside cottage and ended along a windy shoreline. 🕊️🎞️🌾Delena + Devan moved through their elopement day with joy, tenderness, awe, and deep care for the other. It was one of the windiest wedding days I’ve ever experienced, and they just laughed their way through it. They had never been to the Oregon coast before, and I loved getting to watch their eyes light up at the incredible beauty of the Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor. It takes my breath away every time.
