I’m officially a Clemson alum! Yesterday, I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Architecture and a Minor in Business Administration from @clemsonschoolofarchitecture. Ok, first professional work post! (Sort of…)These past several weeks I’ve had the opportunity to create 3 models representing different dormitories for @brittpetersengineers to take to the 2026 International Mass Timber Conference. Constructed at a 1/8”=1’ scale, each project uses a different structural approach: WMU with mass timber hybrid, Clemson with precast concrete, and Ole Miss with volumetric modular. The goal was not to model the entirety of the buildings, but to create comparative, sectional models that allow viewers to immediately see and feel how different systems shape both the exterior expression and interior experience. by @abbybrooks_art
