Can’t believe it’s been a year since these photos and now they have one more sweet lil girl who is here!

If you’d like to snag a fall mini session with me, I have one more available this Sunday at 4pm. All you need to do is shoot me a DM & I’ll send over the booking/deposit link and all need-to-know info!

Sessions will be held at Heritage Park in Fishers, they are 20 minutes, $250, and you’ll receive 20 edited images on the backend. by @abbyfloyd

a few years ago someone sat me down and basically said “it’s time for some grit”. my friends made fun of me because I became obsessed with 2 words: grit and grace.

It’s a recipe for the long haul 😋

btw these are recent sunrises on my way to work

the last stretch of my drive to work is my 10 minute mark. I know I’ve got ten minutes before I set foot in the office and it’s like my mind goes clear and I just feel so grateful for so much in my life as I soak up the sunrise and look out at the land on each side

this one was pretty crazy

I did boost the saturation a little here

August was chock full of fun — birthdays, work travel, fun travel, learning a lot, not as much pickleball, impromptu dinner in Indy with a friend, visits with grandma, a flooded town :(, saved a turtle, walks with Winnie, a rental car that really tried to ruin my vibe, a wedding for two of my favs, and even ended it with an hour lunch in dc! 🥰 taken in Indiana by @abbyfloyd

I heard there’s a new @clancyshospitality restaurant in Noblesville, but I’m trying all the old ones first before I try the new one. It’s basically like a new Avengers movie just dropped.

Thank you @francesmaryy for the invite and thank you @the.fountain.room for the hospitality. Can’t wait to try more 🥰.

What we ordered:
> Brie brûlée — the fluffiest, yummiest Brie I’ve ever experienced with a little side of strawberry jam + a pistachio dusted caramelized sugar crust
> truffle fries & potato casserole 🤤
> FM got the petite filet
> For my entree, I did the Duck Confit Pasta, which was deliciously flavorful with a light butter sauce. I will admit I hadn’t tried duck but it sounded good, and each flavor and texture worked really well together. 10/10 rec.

Hung out with my grandma, admired her sunflowers planted in the flower box my cousin Bram built for her. A neighbor walked over while we fastened stalks to the fence, she wanted grandma to know how happy the sunflowers made her. A new nurse stopped by and he was so caring. I think we all felt a sense of relief listening to him, though it’s not hard to just want to take good care of my sweet grams, feisty as she may be.

The nurse talked about caring for his own father, describing it as the “greatest honor of his life”, as he got to hear stories and learn things about his dad he otherwise would not have known.

Similarly, I get to hear stories about my grandma, growing up in the mountains of New Mexico, calling dibs on a revivalist who she would have 6 kids with, being raised by parents who survived the Great Depression, the time before and after my grandpa became a pastor. I listen to her concerns for the world which seemed overzealous to me a decade ago, now they all seem valid and simple.

I cherish these days now and I know I’ll cherish them more later.
