Save this recipe for later…

Apple Crumble Recipe

Servings: 4–6
Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 35–40 min

Filling:
    •    4–5 red apples (peeled, cored, sliced)
    •    2 tbsp sugar (optional, depends on apple sweetness)
    •    1 tsp cinnamon
    •    1 tsp vanilla extract
    •    Juice of ½ lemon
    •    ½–1 tsp apple cider vinegar

Crumble Topping:
    •    1 cup flour
    •    ¾ cup quick oats (or rolled oats)
    •    ½ cup brown sugar
    •    ½ tsp cinnamon
    •    ½ tsp salt
    •    ½ cup cold butter, cubed
    •    3–4 tbsp cookie butter (Trader Joe’s ✨)

Directions:
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Toss apples with lemon juice, vinegar, cinnamon, vanilla & sugar. Spread into a baking dish.
    • In a bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon & salt. Add butter + cookie butter → crumble with fingers until it forms coarse crumbs.
    • Sprinkle topping evenly over apples.
    • Bake 35–40 min, until golden & bubbling.
    • Cool slightly, then serve warm with ice cream or an extra drizzle of cookie butter.

Would you eat this straight from the pan or wait for a scoop of vanilla ice cream? taken in Downtown Toronto by @abbykmet

This video of my sister sharing the gospel with university students is such an encouragement. University years are a pivotal season — so many are searching for truth, identity, and purpose. And the truth of Jesus brings life: we are fully known, deeply loved, created for more, and invited into everlasting life.

As Christians, we’re not called to simply read and learn the gospel for ourselves — we’re called to proclaim it. To share that our sins have been washed by the blood of Jesus, that forgiveness and freedom are found in Him, and that His love changes everything.

This is why the gospel matters. This is why sharing matters. taken in University of Windsor by @abbykmet
