to know my grandma is to love her, because it’s so impossible not to.
but really, to know my grandma is to be loved BY her. because she loved everyone.

one of the most selfless, caring, compassionate people i’ve ever met. anything that entered her care, whether it be a cat, a dog, a plant, a child of her own blood or not, was changed for the better because of her.
she loved unconditionally.

i can’t really put into words how it feels to lose someone so prominent in your life. disbelief is maybe the closest i can get. she truly was a second mother to me. babysitting me turned into spending time together for no reason, going to concerts together and sharing our favorite music. i will forever love motown music because of her.

she would always be singing, always be dancing to any beat she could find. she lit up every single room she walked in. SHE is where i get my “life of the party” mentality from.

but now, the music has softened and the lights have come on. and i am going to continue spreading her memory and her love for as long as i possibly can.

she always had the most beautiful handwriting. i will have her with me forever. ♥️
thank you ezzie once again for this tat, i can’t explain how much it means to me ♥️

she always showed up for me. coming to football games to see the marching band, every choir concert and cabaret. even walking with my family for senior recognition! (she was in a wheelchair at this point btw! talk about a badass!!)

i miss you too, grandpa squid. ♥️

every reason to celebrate her, we did. and we always will!

along with being one of the most caring people ever, she also never failed to put a smile on everyone’s faces. even up to her last days. this is just one of many hilarious pictures we have of her.
oh, what i would do to share a laugh with you just one more time.

Counting on Broadway: the cabaret of my dreams<3

here are a few awesome photos of my duet number with cory, but also all the numbers i directed and poured blood, sweat, and tears into for almost 3 months. and so did all of the wonderful performers!! and let me tell you, it was worth it!! you all did FANTASTIC!!!
i really discovered my love for directing this semester and i cannot explain how excited i am to expand that love in the years to come.

thank you to everyone who came and saw the show, and thank you @mts_at_sru and everyone who believed in me and trusted me to be head director this semester. i hope you all had as much fun as i did!! i hope to see you all next year :) much love🤍🖤
