I don’t really know what to say because I’m amazed that this came out the way it did. I can’t tell you how cautious and reluctant I was to try to sketch and color a photo from scratch (especially of Jake) but @navibyheart continues to push me and inspire me to try new things and improve with my skills and I have to say I am truly proud of this one and so happy I decided to continue with it 💙 Thank you girl for pushing me and encouraging me to try this 🥰 Love you so much! #avatar #avatarthewayofwater #jakeavatar #jakesully #procreateart #navination #navinationcreation by @abbytesulli

💕Forever my Valentine💕 I have been patiently impatiently waiting to post this one for awhile! 😂 I finished it last month but thought it was a perfect Valentine’s Day post! The amazing original sketch of Jake and myself was done by @na.vify and I colored in the sketch! 🥰 Background credit goes to @navibyheart 💙💙 Ugh I absolutely love this picture and the small details of it such as the heart on my shoulder and how the quote is Jake’s but it 100% relates to me and my first time watching @avatar Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! ❤️🌹 #avatar #jakesully #jakesullyavatar #valentinesday #myvalentine #pandora #jamescameron #jamescameronavatar by @abbytesulli

Wow! I am so happy that I decided to try something new! Recently, I have been inspired by how much @navibyheart has grown with her creations! Soooo, I decided to spread my wings and try to color something completely from scratch (this is actually the second creation I colored from scratch…I’m saving my original that was 100% sketched by @na.vify for Valentine’s Day 😉)! BUT I wanted to try it 100% from scratch by myself! I have to admit I thought I was doomed at first after tracing the reference but I “trusted the process” as Marina would say and this is how it came out! I can definitely say that THIS is definitely in my top 3 of what I am most proud of! 💙💙 PS. If you zoom in you should also be able to see some skin texture! 🥰😅 I am completely new to this type of creation so please let me know your thoughts! 🥰🥰 #avatar #avatar2009 #jakesully #jakesullyavatar #procreate #jamescameron #jamescameronavatar #pandora by @abbytesulli

I love hearing Sam talk about how the dynamic between Jake and Quaritch has completely flipped over the films in many interviews for Fire and Ash! He explained the contrast of how Quaritch once warned Jake about Pandora’s dangers and now Jake is trying to show Quaritch that Pandora is so much deeper than war, fear, and control. When thinking about that, these two quotes came to mind at how perfectly they can depict exactly what Sam talked about. Full quotes… “Out there beyond that fence, every living thing that crawls, flies, or squats in the mud wants to kill you and eat your eyes for jujubes” -Quaritch Avatar 1 -“All this time out here and you still don’t get it. This world goes much deeper than you imagine” -Jake, Avatar Fire and Ash What do you guys think? Do you believe that Quaritch will eventually learn to “see” just like Jake did? NO AI USED! COMPLETELY DONE IN PROCREATE! @avatar #jakesully #quaritch #avatar #pandora #avatarfireandash by @abbytesulli

Getting back to collaborate again is such a fun experience… we just click as a team. We wanted to create a split-face concept. A contrast from two different regions, two main characters in Pandora, same time line. We pushed that idea into something more intense… fire and ash with a purple signature. For Scud’s part, he wanted to bring So’lek into that concept especially in Mangkwan and matching the look and intensity of Jake Sully. From there I worked on the photo and edit to make sure both sides feel like they belong together. For my part, Scud pushed me to learn a new skill which is one of the best things about working him! The ideas he comes up with are amazing and it pushes we to bring them to life the best that I can! He wanted to depict these flawed but powerful main characters of Pandora in a new way, with a touch of color 💜😉. Really proud of how this came together… this one means a lot. @ompinclan by @abbytesulli

Haunted by what he couldn’t save…defined by what he still fights for. The ashes remain but so does his strength. *************************************** Yesterday these two pictures of Jake came to mind and how similar they are, then I saw this tag line from Fire and Ash and knew putting them all together would be perfect for an edit! I wanted Jake’s Way of Water side given that he is scarred, bleeding and exhausted to depict the guilt that haunts him every day, to the point of refusing to become the very thing Eywa had chosen him for. The right side depicts him of course as Toruk Makto. That despite the guilt he holds, he knows deep down, “that there was only ever one path”. What I love most about his decision of once again becoming Toruk Makto is that he loved Spider so much that in order to save him, he decided to become the very thing that haunts him the most. Thank you @navibyheart for your help in fine tuning everything! I’m super proud with how this came out! 🥰 I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted an edit! I’m so happy that I was able to have a creative breakthrough for all of you! But hopefully with the digital release of Fire and Ash coming soon, more edits will be on their way! Let me know your thoughts! #avatar #avatarfireandash #avatarthewayofwater #jakesully #jakesullyavatar by @abbytesulli

“You have a strong heart.” 🌿 Neytiri in Avatar was our first glimpse into the soul of the Omaticaya people. When we first saw the imagery of her focused eyes preying on who would unknowingly to her would one day be her husband, we saw the beauty and fierceness of the natives who live on the beautiful moon we learned to call Pandora! She never let us forget what it means to truly belong to the forest and the determination to fight for it alongside Jake 💙 *DISCLAIMER: All photos besides the movie screenshots were found and taken from Pinterest! “This world goes much deeper than you can imagine” and unfortunately so does the weight of trying to protect it 💙😔 First, sorry this took a hot second to get out to you guys but due to my recent exam my attention was totally focused on studying and it was worth it because I PASSED! Yay! So thank you for being patient 🥰 Second, it actually worked out because Maddie and I will always consider Jake our Valentine! We love him so much! 💙💙 So we present to you Jake’s Fire and Ash mood board! This was the chosen mood board to be created and we did our best to depict Jake’s emotions throughout the course of the movie. You may notice some familiar themes such as the prison suit and handcuffs as well as a glass representing the scene in which he and Neytiri had a brief argument regarding “pink skins”. The weight in Jake’s shoulders as not only a father trying to protect his family in the midst of a war but also trying to protect the Pandora itself! The depth of his emotions and guilt are not recognized enough and Maddie and I will do whatever we can to fight for people to understand him and truly “see him”. We love you Jake! Happy Valentine’s Day! 💙💙💙 *DISCLAIMER: All photos besides the movie screenshots were found and taken from Pinterest! We do not know the original creators! If you happen to know them please provide appropriate credit on our behalf! Irayo!* Stay tuned for the next mood board! I will post the poll in my story! #jakesullyavatar #avatarfireandash #jakesullyfireandash #pandora #moodboard by @abbytesulli

The world he came from shaped the warrior he became. “You want a fair deal. You’re on the wrong planet.” 🤍🪖 So this was just a fun idea that Maddie and I had! Mood boards are not something we often see in this fandom so we decided to each make a mood board on how we see human Jake’s vibes were during his time on Earth! All of these pictures depict what we think his personality would be, what he would typically wear, mode of transportation, etc. 🤭 Let us know….would you like to see these mood boards as a series? *Disclaimer: All pictures besides the movie screen shots of Jake were found in Pinterest. Sometimes the sharpest weapons we use are our words 🏹🥺 This scene was an interesting one for me. I hated seeing Jake and Neytiri argue especially when Neytiri brought up the “human inside” but at the same time I loved this scene because it shows just how deeply both Jake and Neytiri’s grief goes. Jake is feeling guilty all over about everything decision he has ever made and Neytiri is torn between two worlds. She loves Jake and her children more than anything but at the same time there is a piece within them that holds the same DNA as the species who is actively destroying her home and has already taken so much. When Jake said this line to her I feel like he was conflicted too. Of course he was hurt by Neytiri’s words but I feel like he’s also frustrated and guilty by the fact that his former species are the ones that are causing the war and have taken so much. This was definitely a powerful scene and line! What were your thoughts when you saw this scene? #avatar #avatarfireandash #jakesullyavatar #pandora #neytiriavatar by @abbytesulli
