I don’t think I’ll ever have the right words to say goodbye to you. My heart hurts knowing I have to live in a world without you, but I’m so grateful for every memory, every laugh, and every moment we shared. You were more than just my grandpa—you were someone I looked up to, someone I loved deeply, and someone who will always have a special place in my heart.Every year on my birthday, I know I’ll think of you even more because we were lucky enough to share the same birthday. What used to make my birthday even more special will now be a reminder of how much I miss you and how lucky I was to share that day with you. I’m so excited and grateful to announce my commitment to Lorain County Community College to continue my softball career while pursuing my degree in Dental Hygiene! I’m incredibly thankful for this opportunity and for everyone who has helped me get to this point. A huge thank you to my parents for always supporting me, believing in me, and encouraging me through every step of this journey. I’m also so grateful for all of the coaches who have coached me, supported me, and pushed me to become the player and person I am today. A special thank you to the LCCC coaching staff for coming out to watch me play, believing in me, and giving me the opportunity to get to know the program and meet the girls. From the moment I met the team, I felt so welcomed and excited about what’s ahead. I also want to give a huge thank you to my travel organization, Ohio Valley Extreme, for everything they have done for me throughout this journey. I’m so grateful for their time, dedication, and support and for helping push me toward this amazing opportunity. Lastly, I want to thank all of my friends for always believing in me, encouraging me, and supporting me through all the ups and downs. Having so many people in my corner means more to me than I can put into words. None of this would have been possible without the people who have believed in me and supported me along the way. I’m beyond grateful to have found a place where I can continue doing what I love while working toward my future career in Dental Hygiene.
