My mother, Bubsie Weisbecker, died peacefully in her sleep this morning. To know her, was to love her. She was a beacon of light, always up for fun, always ready to go— a self described go-go girl. One can’t live 98 years without experiencing difficult times. She had those too but rose above them with resilience and strength. I will remember these things— her positive spirit, her strength and especially her love for her family. Gibby, Bobby and I were with her last week and she knew it. It was all she wanted.
