FOLLOW THE MILKY WAY WITH ME

It's that easy! First time with the Move Shoot Move - and it worked on the first try (Ad | Werbung)

I tested the Move Shoot Move tracker for the first time, and what surprised me most: the laser alignment made setup in the dark so easy. Compact, solid in the hand, and ready fast. This Milky Way and the timelapse are the result of my very first night with it.

Can't wait to use it again, but as a first impression, I'm a total fan.

What bothers you the most when doing Nightscape Photography?

BEHIND THE SCENES | Behind my Lense

ENGLISH
Behind every starry photo is a night of planning, patience and heart.
Come with me behind the scenes of our bridal couple shoot in Teide National Park, Tenerife.
My biggest dream was to bring astrophotography and wedding photography together. It's exactly what led me to wedding photography in the first place, and this shoot took me right back to my roots.
Thank you, Kate & Alexej, for jumping into this adventure with me. And thank you to my husband for supporting me during our vacation. These images wouldn't exist without you.
When did you last look up at the night sky? Tell me in the comments. by @abcspacestories

GOOD NEWS: I do not need daylight to capture your Lovestory!

Swipe slowly. Every frame is a heartbeat.

The bridal couple, a veil in the wind, the Milky Way above, and nothing else that mattered.

Honestly? This was a challenge. Wedding photography and astrophotography are two different worlds: with people, it's all about emotion and connection; with the night sky, every star and every color has to be right. Bringing both into one frame took patience, and I loved every minute of it.

Dreaming of images like these? Send me a message, I'd love to hear your story.

Langsam swipen.

Schreib mir, ich möchte deine Geschichte hören. by @abcspacestories

First, just a silhouette. Then the light comes on.

Kate & Alexej under the Milky Way. Two people, one huge sky, zero doubt. 🤍
Dreaming of a night like this? Say hi, I’d love to hear your story.

Erst nur eine Silhouette. Dann geht das Licht an.
Kate & Alexej unter der Milchstraße. Zwei Menschen, ein riesiger Himmel, null Zweifel.

Du träumst von so einer Nacht? Schreib mir, ich möchte deine Geschichte hören.

The daytime before the nighttime shoo: TIME TO FREAK OUT!

A hotel room, a rig I'm not 100% familiar with, and a wedding photo shoot planned under the stars on Teide. 🌌

Combining astrophotography and wedding photography has been my dream since day one. It takes me right back to the roots of why I picked up a camera.

Nervous? Absolutely. Doing it anyway.

NO STARS TONIGHT BUT THE SKY PUTTING ON QUIET A SHOW

Nightscape photography isn't just stars. Sometimes it's chaos with a shutter open.

Caught this thunderstorm rolling in on a 2 second exposure timelapse. This is my first thunderstorm timelapse. Still know clue how to do it right!

This summer has been relentless, and apparently the atmosphere agrees.

Have you caught any storms on camera this summer? Drop your best lightning shot below — I want to see them.

When looking at Deep Sky Images like these I gotta know:
Do you like them
Including stars to see it completly OR
Starless to see more details in the nebula OR
even black and white for more depth and structure?

Let me know in the comments! I'm nosy! by @abcspacestories

MY FIRST NOCTILUCENT CLOUDS

Three nights ago I caught my very first NLCs — and honestly, I almost missed them. I only knew where to look because of a heads-up from my astro women's network (this is exactly why community matters 💫).

They weren't as bright or dramatic as I'd hoped, but seeing those electric-blue wisps with my own eyes for the first time was still magical.

Quick science bit: Noctilucent clouds are the highest clouds in our atmosphere, forming around 80km up, made of ice crystals that catch sunlight after the sun has set below the horizon — that's why they glow. June is peak NLC season in the Northern Hemisphere, so if you're at higher latitudes, now's the time to look up after sunset.

Created a timelapse for you and taking you with me in my journeys. 🤍
