I am truly saddened to hear the news of the passing of Hip Hop icon Sparky D. We originally met back in like 2007, and reconnected again in 2014, at a Female Hip Hop event at @spelman_college. We talked about my company @aemgtv shooting her Documentary.

Some moments in life are truly priceless.
This year marked my very first Father’s Day with my daughter, Trinity. Being brought into her life at age 11, and having the opportunity to serve as a Father Figure has been one of the greatest honors and blessings God has given me.

Watching her grow, supporting her through life’s challenges & seeing the incredible Young Lady” she is becoming has filled my heart with so much pride. What made this Father’s Day even more special was that she took ME out to eat and spent the day celebrating our bond together.

Fatherhood isn’t always about biology—it’s about showing up, loving unconditionally, being present, listening, guiding & creating a safe place for someone to grow. Trinity, thank you for making this Father’s Day one I’ll never forget. I love you dearly and I’m grateful for every moment we share.

Here’s to many more memories, laughs, conversations and adventures together. ❤️
