Emilie got to support Michael Gungor at Saint Mathew’s this morning after her, Rich and the Saint Matt worship team spent Saturday with Michael at a songwriting workshop. Thanks @michaelgungor and @saintmatthewwc!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼 by @abeautifulliturgy

Blue is the color of Advent, so @emilieillustrates ukulele is perfect. We had the honor to support the Darkest Night service at @saintmatthewwc, in addition to morning’s chapel yesterday. Christmas means so much more when we realize our need for it. Advent brings this to mind each year. May you find the peace of Christ, a baby prince, a refugee king, and forever ruling as the wounded lamb. by @abeautifulliturgy

Such a good morning with our @saintmatthewwc fam at the Chapel service. 🙌🏼 @rkweblog @emilieillustrates by @abeautifulliturgy

YOU’RE COMING SOON (An Advent Song) #Advent

Words and Music by Emilie Kirkpatrick, Rich Kirkpatrick, REMIX @kyle__kirkpatrick of @moxiehopstudio

VERSE 1:
Like a chrysalis grows slowly in the dark,
our hearts prepare for your arrival
in faith we pray your beauty’s on its way,
Oh, even in the shadows of our trials.

PRE-CHORUS:
we wait for you, we wait for you

CHORUS:
You’re coming soon, you’re coming soon,
Son of God you’re coming soon
You’re coming soon, you’re coming soon,
Son of God you’re coming soon
you’re coming soon

VERSE 2:
You’re shaping us into a work of art
Create a masterpiece out of the ugly
We anticipate with every passing day
Spreading our wings in heaven’s glory

BRIDGE:
Let us hold on to the promise.
Beauty awaits. Beauty awaits.
Let us hold on to the promise.
Beauty awaits. by @abeautifulliturgy

When we lead worship together, sometimes we randomly match. Green was our theme today! 💚 by @abeautifulliturgy

A wonderful Easter with family. And, @abeautifulliturgy got to lead worship with @christchurcheastbay this morning. He is risen, indeed! #easter by @abeautifulliturgy

Merry Christmas from A Beautiful Liturgy. With gratitude, we share our music and our prayers. The Refugee King, Jesus, came at a dark point and place in history to remind us that he offers peace without fear and hope for a world in need of his love. Thank you for being a part of our creative and devotional journey. Shalom. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 by @abeautifulliturgy

We ran through our Sunday worship music set and just the two of us vocally set off dB alarm! 🔊🙉 by @abeautifulliturgy

We wrote a benediction called “God’s Favor (A Benediction)” we’re using to close the service. It’s from our humble chapel service via phone video. We love it when we get sing prayers!
