Brick Ming Vase

The ming vase, one of the most fragile and exlusive ceramic objects, but made from bricks, which is one of the strongest common building materials.

Still ceramic, different technique.

This interactive installation was created for a Dixi portable toilet at an event or festival. By approaching this familiar and sometimes uncomfortable object in a humorous way, the work creates a playful and unexpected interaction. As soon as a visitor enters the Dixi, a stone sculpture of a man begins to urinate.
This creates an unexpected interaction that extends beyond the private space of the toilet. The work invites both the participant and the surrounding audience to become part of this intimate moment. In this playful way, everyone can enjoy the experience while you are sitting on the Dixi.

Shoe Sole Carpet

By turning over something that normally never sees daylight and is always directed toward the ground, the wear, colours, and patterns become visible. The kilometres travelled and the stories carried by the shoes are brought to the surface. taken in Sectie-C by @abel_maas_
