My niece graduated High School yesterday, was asked to MC her Graduation ceremony and give at speech at the end. Just a couple of years ago, this felt completely out of reach. People change. I am proud taken in Dee Events Center by @abelardosaucedo

I spent the last few weeks on a work assignment helping the Workday Spain PreSales Team.

Aside from the actual work I went there to do, I managed to find a bit of time to explore that beautiful country and immerse myself in their culture.

Although I'd been there before several times, I was quickly reminded why Spain in my opinion has one of the best cultures in the world and why their quality of life constantly ranks at the very top.

Dinners can last hours. They communicate very well. They're warm, yet direct. People don't get offended easily. There are no phones anywhere in sight when spending time with family or friends. They work to live and not the other way around. And they're very proud of their culture and traditions. It was refreshing to see that and those are just some of the things I need to be reminded of more often.

The cherry on top was learning that Saucedo originated in a little valley in central Spain called Valle de Salcedo. 🇪🇸 The not so cherry on top was frantically googling what certain words meant that differ completely to the Spanish I speak in an effort not to look like a total idiot.

Switzerland 🇨🇭. We biked, Bryan Doom crashed, went to a glacier, saw the Matterhorn from every angle, mobbed around in a Camper Van we couldn’t park anywhere and appreciated the most beautiful country on the planet. Oh, and saw tons of cows… taken in Zermatt, Switzerland by @abelardosaucedo
