"Iss Tarah" Devanagari Type
Which eventually became a gradient map poster exploration.
.
When I saw the original type by @maani.png , I was curious to see how it would look in Devanagari, and even though other hindi titles existed within the identity, this one was only in Latin.

After exploring for the first 15 mins, I realised why. The forms looked weird, most of it was unreadable, and I couldn't incorporate the triangles without sacrificing the devanagari-attributes. After ditching some cool type-forms, I ended up with this fairly readable and cool looking title, then cooked up a bunch of posters.

Lemme know what you think!

Devanagari Lettering and Poster exploration for Primetime (I see how this looks)
I haven't yet watched the movie, but went through the video essay explaining how it establishes Chris Hansen as the vampire of the 21st century, hence the literal fangs in the movie title. I had made a mental note, to make a Devangari version to see how I could fit the fangs into a totally different set of letterforms. I was sick and bored yesterday, so decided to get this idea outta the brain.

It's Lanterns Wednesday yall

Devanagari lettering for Lanterns. The 2nd slide is straight outta one of those animated TV shows I used to watch as a kid. A Hal jordan animated prequel would go hard rn. Or live action. Actually just gimme 15 seasons of Lanterns asap.

Juicy Typography Exploration
for clips from that Pondicherry trip I've definitely not talked about a lot hehe
.
.
.
Coincidentally, @manyaa.jpeg shared her type designs (which were bangers ofc) a week before my trip, so I already knew which places to cover.

A few explorations from a personal project I've been working on, which is basically a zine documenting the dying craft of Ghurni. Hence the distorted look and fingerprint textures, and I definitely like how it came out.

Putting these out here with the sole purpose of reminding myself to finish the project, which I am very bad at, but also cuz I've signed up for two design competitions and it will be sometime before I get back to this.

Proud of everyone fighting for our rights, especially when most of the government institutions have proved that they don't give a shit.
.
I hope I don't get in trouble for these, but then again I heard that they don't have time for videos and such trivial stuff.

I guess we are bringing guns to the pen fight now.
These are dark days, and there's a lot of chaos, on the streets and on the internet. Sure, it is hard to know who's right and which ideology is in your favour. But you don't need to learn politics to know that it is WRONG to use brute force against kids, crack their heads open and throw them on the streets when all they asked for was accountability. We deserve better.
