Angelmaker has always been making some really cool music especially in 2015, when I first heard this album I was just getting into deathcore and since then I’ve been hooked. This album is in daily rotation tracks 1-10, my favorites have to be Godless, Abysmal and Shia Labeouf. Crazy to think this came out 11 years ago and holds so much value to the community! I’m also very pleased with the color I got for the open 2 week preorder, it matches everything so perfectly.

This is my first ever picture disc I’ve ever owned never too much of a fan of them, but I mean come when it comes to Devourment we gotta pull the trigger. The art is obviously a little wild on this one, but it’s so iconic. What more could I say about these dudes, the music they’ve made has always been top tier and these dudes are THE pioneers of slam I don’t care what yall say.

BODYSNATCHER! These dudes have done nothing but put hit after hit out over the last 10 years. Every album gets heavier some how and every album there is this new theme that they play into and works so well. This Heavy Void and Abandonment are hands down my favorite but I do really dig this new album.

One of the best brutal death metal bands out right now, the guitar work by these guys is always incredible and the blast beats are some of my favorite of all time. Every single drop since this demo has been nothing but fire. Bridget has some of the nastiest slam vocals imo and there’s a way they blend the OG BDM stuff with the newer age and stuff and I’m all for it!

Darko is fucking mad, beautiful ambient synths one second another and you’re hit with a wall of heavy ass sound. Crazy that two dudes are the only ones making this, the production is wild but what do you expect when you have two dudes from @chelseagrinofficial I am salty that I missed most of the drops for all the other vinyls but I can say Insects and Donna are two of my all time favorites so I can’t complain too much.

This demo is great, the overall mixing has like an early 2000s feel to it i don’t know how to explain it. It’s quiet but also not quiet at the same time if you know what im trying to say. Girl Of Glass blends hardcore elements and deathcore / death metal elements beautifully, I wouldn’t say it’s its own genre but when I did first hear it, it was nothing I had heard before. Killer Drums, gnarly vocals, great slam / hardcore riffs and just an overall nice feeling. Oh yeah who the fuck doesn’t like Coraline mayn?

Moria is a deathcore band from Salinas California forming in 2004. These guys are super fucking good, I’m very sad that I didn’t discover them sooner. I’ve been listening to them for a good 2 years now and my favorites have to be The Horror, On The Eve and Forever Entombed. The breakdowns hit different on this one, they have that older style feeling but still hit on a brutal level. If you guys haven’t checked Moria out I highly recommend!!

If you like stupid hard slam then this is the one for you. This band is insane, honestly that’s the only way I could put it. For 2012 this goes insanely fucking hard for all the right reasons. Tones of guitars on point, drum tone on point, and vocals are extremely NASTYYY. I actually found these guys in the same week as .357 homicide, no surprise there… if you haven’t checked these guys out I HIGHLY recommend!

.357 has only been on my radar for a few years but I fucking love these guys! Something about the simple slam that just absolutely hits on another level. The bass drops, the tone of the drums especially the super pingy snare, amazing slam vocals and the guitar tones are BEEFY on this album. I won’t lie sometimes it is a little repetitive at times but they do finds ways to change it up and keep the songs sounding different from one another.

Sworn Ins Death Card has been a staple of mine since I first heard it in around 2014. It is a very dark and strong felt album based around hate, wanting to die and being in the depths of life. I always thought as I aged this album would never hit the same as it did when I was a teenager but boy was I wrong, this has aged like fine wine. From the dark lyrics to the raspy vocals very importantly the lows that come out of Tyler Dennen in this record are very iconic imo. They are very forced and sound like he’s in a rage and going to jump out of his own skin and boy if you like panic chords this is the record for you. 13 years later and every single track RIPS to this day.

Despite all of the drama from DDR this was one of my top chases in my collection for a while now. We do not condone any of the actions from a certain somebody who I won’t even mention their name anymore because what’s the point. Friendship’s destroyed, thousands of dollars missing and lies on lies on lies. But we most definitely condone all actions from @wakingthecadaverofficial

This will be most likely the last piece of anything that I post from DDR. I am happy to have this piece of Brutal Death Metal history in my hands thanks to @_wh0re2achainsaw_ by @abelthayden

The Burning Wind is a chaotic metalcore and hardcore band known for blending crushing riffs with emotional lyrical themes.
The group comes from North Carolina and developed a reputation in underground heavy music circles for their intense and dissonant sound.
Their music is often compared to bands like Converge, Gaza, and Chamber because of its mix of aggression, mathy structures, and dark atmosphere.
The band released a self-titled project in 2017 that showcased short, chaotic songs packed with heavy breakdowns and frantic energy.
In 2019, they followed it up with the release of “An Inheritance in A#,” which featured more emotional and personal songwriting.
