Here is a cool one we got do, all the sheet metal and lead work for a customer some years back. The Tom Hocker 40 ford coupe originally built by George Barris. It will be featured at the Grand National Roadster show this week. The car as you will see in photos had a large amount of work done. We had to tear through years of bad repair work unfortunately we could not save some of the panels. Car was sent off to media blast and the restoration begins. We replaced the complete floors, firewall, r/l side cowl panels, door skins keeping the original door shells, rework and welding in rear fenders, rear section of car, redoing the chop in some of areas of the roof, the front hood nose was patched, and complete front end around grill area reworked to be able to get nice gaps throughout. There is so much we did but the finished results in the final lead work turned out awesome the photos speak for themselves. The refinish work was done by another shop. I had 2 of the best fabricators help me on this one Chino (RIP) and Jesus who helped finish dialing things in with his amazing lead work.

1959 Cadillac convertible, replacing front left lower quarter panel. No parts for these cars… I hand fabricated this panel and fixed the inner part of jamb area I will show on next post. I will post more pictures of other panels I’ve fabricated and replaced on this car some time in near future. by @abescustompainting

1969 BSA victor special, painted 52 pieces to this bike here a few of the last. Decals I applied and @kustomdude striped the white between yellow and polished edge.

In its final prime… happy the way it’s turning out, once we do final block we soften up body lines and edges around openings. Now it’s off to @untouchablemetalworks to have the bumpers dialed in a little tuck and roll. Then back to owner to have a few more things done before we get back for refinish.

A lot of cool details on this coupe we did some time ago. One of my favorites is the rear pan, I installed rear taillights, fabricated the tubes to hold lights in place and added the detail around the opening, rear pan as well to fit shape of body. Frame rails body-worked and painted to match the finish on body.

1968 Dodge Charger we did back in 2004 when working for Pete Chapouris (So Cal Speed Shop), me and another guy thrashed to do paint and body in a crazy short amount of time, painting that roll cage was was no easy task 😬. Good to see at the Grand National Roadster Show. Check out the story in the @shine_speedshop booth.

Ralph Lopez @hollywoodbuly 1950 Phantom Voodoo. We did quite a bit of paint work on this one after being rear ended 😬… @untouchablemetalworks handled the bodywork very nice! Looking good at the Grand National Roads Show.
