This year I’ve had the privilege of seeing so many amazing techno/hardgroove/minimal DJs do their thing, both locally and across the country; it definitely gave me the techno bug. This is a mix a did a few weeks back at a house party (shoutout @rat_cemetery for hosting) where I got to put these tunes to work - some of them for the first time.

Sometimes rats die. Sometimes people bury them. What do you call the collective graves of their little lifeless rodent husks? That, my friend, would be a Rat Cemetery.
Rat Cemetery was formed deep into the latter hours of a summer night. The breeze blew the shades open, the lights went out, and a single match was lit. Thus, Rat Cemetery came to be.

I’m Syd, a muralist based in Madison, creating large-scale work that transforms spaces into something personal, intentional, and alive. My work is rooted in connection, each piece reflecting the people, energy, and stories behind it.
Outside of murals, I’m deeply inspired by movement. As a swimmer, trainer, and athlete, I’m drawn to the rhythm of physical activity, the discipline, the flow, and the feeling of being fully present in your body. That same energy shows up in my work through movement, layering, and an intuitive process.
This live painting is a reflection of my journey beyond the business, where I experiment, stay curious, and create for the sake of creating. It’s about exploring what feels true in the moment and letting the process unfold in real time. by @abesm_

2025! 🎊
So incredibly thankful to have shared the dance floor and booth with so many amazing friends!

I’m usually pretty bad at remembering to save videos and pics of myself and the events I go to, so not NEARLY everyone who helped make this year special is pictured here.

This year I had the privilege of playing more gigs than ever before and honing in my sound as a DJ. What started as a hobby to get myself out of the house after college turned into many late nights with people I truly consider family. Thank you to everyone who gave me a booth to stand behind and to all those who came out to hear me play my collection of sounds, I never took it for granted!
