This May, 16 of our ABE brothers and sisters travelled overseas to Bali, Indonesia. Alongside a UConn volunteer organization, they participated in wildlife cleanups, supported local childcare programs, taught English to young Balinese students, and explored the island. On Saturday, our brothers danced at HuskyTHON, UConn’s 18-hour dance marathon raising funds and awareness for Connecticut Children’s.

As a fraternity of biology and healthcare-related majors, we are inspired by the life-saving work of medical research and pediatric care that supports these kids every day.

As a whole chapter, we raised over $50,000 for Connecticut Children’s. A special thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this possible. Together, the HuskyTHON community raised over $2.2 million this year.

We fight for this cause because we believe in a future free from childhood illness, and until then, we will continue to stand with these kids and their families while supporting the life-changing work provided by Connecticut Children’s. ♥️ #aboveallelse by @abeuconn
