Liberty Hall 360: Revolutionary Wedding

The film invites audiences to attend the wedding of future Founding Father John Jay to socialite Sarah Livingston, the daughter of the first elected governor of New Jersey. A colorful cast of characters leads the audience on an adventure around the mansion and grounds, as they experience the story through the eyes of “Lucius Horatio”, a rambunctious young guest at the wedding.

The storyboard process involved breaking down the 4 page script into individual scenes, and breaking those down into individual shots, which were then very loosely sketched onto notecards.

It was a way to get the original images in my director brain into a format that @lilygiaphoto could then translate into camera movements and choreography.

Book haul book haul

My quest to read a hell of a lot more continues. Two of these were not available from the libraries e-book collections, and one of them I loved so much I knew I needed a copy of my own.

Read indie, read horror, read film analysis, go to the library, get your library card, find the weird things and share them.

Studio assistant had some input about the storyboard frames for this next project. (His input was "stop doing this and look at ME")

Scribbling some shots as we kick off preproduction. We're going full spooky mode, this time.
