Welcome to ABGS Adventures. Now that over 2,000 of you are here, I wanted to reintroduce myself and share why I do Disney. 💜

My name is Alexa, and if you’ve been following along, you know I love sharing theme park moments, local Florida life, and everyday adventures. But there’s a bigger reason behind why I spend so much time in the parks.

“You go to Disney all the time…” 🥺🏰

Yes, I do.

Living with endometriosis and adenomyosis 🎗️, Disney is one of my safe places.
I can slow down.
Skip a ride.
Take a break.
Go home if I need to, and come back another day. ✨

You deserve specialized care and to advocate for yourself. I share my story so no one navigates chronic illness alone. 💜

If you’re new here, say hi below. And if you live with a chronic illness, what’s your safe place? 👇

Reminder: No one ever comes back from Disney World unhappy. Maybe tired. Possibly with emptier pockets. But never unhappy. ✨

There is just something about leaving EPCOT after a long park day that makes you forget all about your tired feet and your post-vacation reality waiting at home. Pure Disney magic from start to finish! 🌍💜

Let me know your favorite park to close out the night in the comments below! 👇

Don’t let digital ghouls ruin your upcoming vacation! 🎃✈️
Cybersecurity Awareness Month is here, and whether you’re heading to a theme park or traveling out of town, bad actors are always lurking. Keeping your personal data safe on the go doesn’t have to be a nightmare.

Watch the video above for 4 essential travel security tips to keep your tech locked tight:

🔌 1. Beware of “Poisoned” USB Ports: Public charging stations at airports and parks can expose your phone to malware. Always pack your own wall block or a portable power bank!

👻 2. Avoid Phantom Wi-Fi: Free hotel and park Wi-Fi is convenient, but untrusted networks make it easy for cyber ghouls to intercept your info. Turn off auto-connect and use a VPN!

🏰 3. Protect Your Kingdom: Broadcasting real-time updates advertises an empty home, and losing an unlocked phone in a crowd is a disaster. Turn on “Find My,” set your passcodes, and post your park photos after your trip.

🕸️ 4. Silence Eavesdropping Ghosts: Leaving Bluetooth constantly discoverable in heavy crowds lets bad actors track your device or send unsolicited files. Toggle it off when not in use!

✨ Save this post for your next packing list, and share it with your travel crew to keep their data safe this October!

👇 Drop a 🎃 in the comments if your travel MFA and security settings are ready to go!

Nestled right behind the busy World Showcase path, Victoria Gardens in Epcot’s Canada Pavilion is one of the most serene, picturesque spots in the park.

Inspired by the famous Butchart Gardens in British Columbia, it’s filled with lush landscaping, stone walkways, and stunning views of Hotel du Canada. Next time you need a quiet moment away from the crowds, make sure to take a stroll down this peaceful path! ✨

Where is your favorite hidden spot to relax in Epcot? Drop it in the comments below! 👇

A little extra pixie dust arrived in the mail today! 🪄✨ My bestie sent the sweetest Disney surprise, and I couldn’t wait to unbox it with you. Press play to open it together and see what magical goodies were inside! 💜🏰

Also disregard my hair I’m not sure why but it’s been frizzing out like crazy the past few weeks. 😅

I love the fun of cooking and baking, and my hubby is always ready to eat—so these easy cheesy bacon pinwheels have become one of our go-to favorites! 🥓🧀 (And yes, I double the bacon bits to 1 full cup because he can never have enough!)

Save this for your next snack craving or game day spread 👇

Ingredients:
13.8 oz pizza dough or 1 can Pillsbury Original Crescent Dough Sheet
4 oz spreadable cream cheese
1 cup bacon bits (the original calls for ½ cup, but more is better! 😉)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese blend
½ tsp garlic powder
2 green onions, thinly sliced

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix cream cheese, bacon bits, cheddar, garlic powder, and green onions in a bowl.
3. Unroll pizza dough/crescent sheet and spread the mixture evenly over the top.
4. Roll tightly starting from the long edge.
5. Slice into pinwheels, shape rounds if needed, and place on your baking sheet.
6. Bake for 14 minutes (or according to your dough package instructions) until golden brown! 🥐✨

Are you team “follow the recipe” or team “add extra bacon”? 🥓👇

FYI: Adapted from the original recipe found on SpendWithPennies.com!
