I find myself to be the prettiest in my own self-potraits. The way I see myself gets depicted the best in them. My liking towards photography began with self-potraits only.
It allows me to experiment with my expression of the self and the techniques I use to click the photos.
Truly, it brings such happiness to me looking all gorgeous and clicking pictures of myself heh.

Should've posted this way earlier but here we are.

Anyway, no deep caption for this one because, as a photographer, I don't really find conceptual shoots meaningful, especially if it's being done in a studio. It's nice and all for the aesthetics, but photography is more than just aesthetics; so yes, I'm not hugely fond of studio shoots.
(Might be tweaking rn because whotf posts their photos on their handle, and criticises those same photos in the caption)

Smither Dynamics is pleased to report that TAR successfully executed its phased transition protocol from “Late-Night Listening Room” to “Full-System Floor Collapse.”

The Lounging Phase began with controlled nicotine-backed trading under Cigarette Poker. Assets were exchanged, introductory stimulus packages were distributed, and several participants demonstrated concerning levels of confidence in statistically unfavourable positions. As predicted, 99.99% of gamblers almost quit before winning big.

By the Disco Phase, the sonic environment pivoted. Jazz-adjacent stability gave way to high-pressure techno infrastructure. The lounge dissolved. The floor activated. Movement replaced moderation.

I'm a little done taking my photography account too seriously so ^^

First photo in my Kolkata Pujo 2023 series. It was genuinely the most amazing time I had, specifically because was able to take out my camera everyday everywhere; it was so fucking good. All thanks to a dear friend who helped me with carrying it around, because I myself can't. Disabled. I wish I could take my camera everywhere with me. So many frames I come across regularly, that leave me wondering how great it'd be if I could just fit my DSLR into my pocket. But it's ok. Some instances you capture only in your mind, and hope that it stays with you forever.

Retrospection: In the midst of our relentless pursuit of "success", it becomes imperative to pause and engage in retrospection. Looking back on the paths that we have trodden throughout our lives and the direction we are heading towards, a depressing realisation occurs. We find ourselves exploited and overworked to the point of extreme exhaustion, simply in order to ensure a bare minimum level of survival for us and our dear ones. It is within these "pauses" that we come to recognize the evils of an unjust system that deliberately keeps us this way, a system which neither lets us live in peace or die in peace. Perhaps, in the shared realisation of our collective discontent, a revolution will occur one day freeing us of the chains that have bound us for centuries. As Marx and Engels very famously said, "Workers of the world, unite! You've nothing to lose but your chains!"

Humans of Kumhar Village.

Street photography remains a daunting challenge for me. Navigating the unease of engaging with strangers as an introverted photographer can be anxiety-inducing. Yet, my recent journey to Kumhar Village was a revelation. The individuals I encountered were truly exceptional. If I were to describe them in a few words, I'd call them a comforting embrace.
I cherish how photography bridges the gap to between us and our society. I'm SOOO excited for the things that photography, and my interaction with people as I engage in photography, will teach me in the days that are about to come.

A hot, sunny noon in West Delhi. I was at Kumhar's Village, but more than taking pictures of pottery, I enjoyed interacting with the people there. The joy with which some people wanted to have their pictures taken made me feel like all the heat and sweat was worth every bit. I am grateful that I got to explore this aspect of photography, it was truly an experience.

Was having funsies on a day-out to Garden of Five Senses when I came across this gorgeous gorgeous frame. This Cassia fistula was so beautifully hanging down from a branch. It just inevitably makes me think about how magnificent nature can be; it humbles me to think about how I'm just a small speck of dust in this vastness. And I'm just a guy trying to capture the intricacies of this vastness with my camera.
