As 2023 coming to an end I would like to announce 📣 that the time has come, thank you all ❤️ many people in my close circle already know my decision I have made. Instead of slipping away quietly from the world of football, I owe it to all the great fans/supporters, teammates, coaches, staffs and all the amazing people I have met along the way to say thank you for amazing 6 years of professional football. Being a professional footballer for the last 6 years was not all glitz and glam. I decided to take the plunge and play abroad at the age of 21. I flew to the other side of the world and was away from all my friends and family in a culture and a country where English was not the native tongue. While I was there I dealt with lot of mental health issues from a very young age being alone and having no one to talk to or help me through times like playing through several injuries. Taking numerous amounts of pills and injections just so I can do the one thing I love ❤️. Losing close relationships and not seeing my family often I was all alone. I realized that a lavish lifestyle without a core foundation such as family love and friendship meant absolutely nothing. I have decided to retire from professional football and move back home even though it wasn’t an easy decision to make it feels like the right one..I fell out of the love of the game but funnily enough am now bombarded by social pressure . It’s all a learning curve and that is just life, it’s been a global experience that has shaped me forever. I’ve learned a lot about football played against some real ballers that I will forever be grateful for. Like mom always use to say when one door 🚪 closes another has opened and I am ready to take on a new challenge in a new direction. Thank you all for everything and thank you to those who have followed my football journey over the years ❤️ and can’t wait to share my new adventure with you all 🇧🇩 🇺🇸 ❤️ ⚽️ xHOLDATx taken in Retirement Life by @abid_h11

2016-2023 with great emotion I’m writing this message to all the Mohammedan fans the time has come for me to say my goodbye.To all my fellow teammates, coaches, officials over the years and most importantly the fans thank you for your continuous and unconditional love and support. It was a lovely journey that will remain in my heart ❤️ forever. It has been an honor to wear your jersey and be part of this great family. You guys took me in as a young 20 year old now leaving as a man, gave me home away from home made me feel safe and let me be myself at all time.I wish you all the best and good luck for the upcoming season. Sometimes you feel as if you have yet to make it. As if everything is still in front of you. With so much still yet to prove. Then you reminisce on the steps it has taken to get to this point. Where you started, with the people you
started with. The days in the backyard trying to chase an idea. The bros at Sherwood/Greenacres park that have never cared bout nothin other than ballin and laughing. The homies that didn't have anything and had to work for everything. That's where you're from, thats who you are. And you never changed up. You were never supposed to make it this far, reach the heights you've reached, touched the people you've touched. Yet you've been all around the world 🌎 , you got some brothers thats dead some in jail and it feels like it was just yesterday you was all laughing and playing ball 🏀 ⚽️ together….Yet you kept moving forward, getting shit done when the obstacles stood tall. Then you gave back to the game, the people that you loved, and supported the people that needed help. For no reason other than they are from where you're from. Uncovering the fakes and the frauds. One thing I can say about ⚽️ is it's a Love/ Hate relationship! But…If you be faithful to the game the game will be faithful to you! I had close friends I never thought would turn their back on me turned their back. I have some family that act like strangers. Hey!! But THE GAME I tell you Is a special place Sheshhh..... man it will be days you feel like giving up and days you feel like your on top of the world! But straight up!!!You get what you put in. You can't say the same about people. Love the game it's nothing like it! You put that work in whether it's seen or not you will always get the results you want. 💯 xHOLDATx by @abid_h11
