Last week during our camping trip we had a surprising visitor--actually two!!! I have never dealt with skunks this brazen! And the fact they were able to push a pretty heavy bin off the table to bust it open is kind of impressive… Have you ever dealt with critters in the campground?

How can you praise the Lord in your actions today? For me it is intentional rest from work, enjoying His creation and stewarding the plants in my care, and spending time with my family 🩵

I got to hike the Trail of Ten Falls with my daughter, dad, brother, and a friend of the family who is like a second dad--it was truly an incredible experience! Breathtaking beauty around every corner, the quality of light felt like you were swimming in a golden glow, and the changing leaves contrasting with the water made for a visual feast! With the side trails we clocked in just under 12 miles when it was all set and done, but you can easily access the two biggest waterfalls from the parking lots on either end of the trail!

Are you still wearing bathing suits or is it sweater weather where you live? This summer was SO busy, this is the first time we were able to float down our local river and it was soooo relaxing! Is there a summer activity you never got around to that you want to squeeze in before fall?
