- Directing this visually delicious, over the top, theatrical ROX campaign for @jazzworld_official ft. the effervescent @farishafi was both nerve-wracking and pure magic. Being the first female director on this platform is a milestone I don’t take lightly and the powerhouse women running the set made it an unforgettable and humbling experience. NONE of this happens in a vacuum: - To the female crew, operating as a well oiled machine: you made every frame possible. - To the Art team who trusted the circular purple fever dream vision: thank you for taking the leap with me. - To my Mama @zoomi_crafty_workshop my permanent hype woman: thanks for the knitting, the samosas and the healing energy for the entire crew. - To friends and support systems @zebawaqar x @faraankhaan Learnt a ton and I guess we’re just getting started. 🚀 Brand: @roxlifepk Agency: @dot.move.international Production Company: @eikon7group Creative Production Studio: @ft.wastudio Director: @shamszmansur DOP: @abidrizv Creative Producer: @taimuraamir_ First AD: @farihaafzalkhan Second AD: @_alinarizwan03 Movement Director: @taishi_anarchy Line Producer: @ameerhamza.98 Storyboard Artist: @anasdraws11 Art Director: @syedhammadsohail_unfoldrhythm Associate Art Directors: @talhaa_islam x @talha4art Prop Master: @safwanbaig24 Display Technician: @huzugraphy Set Construction: @arbabaliperfectsetcreation Wardobe for Faris Shafi: @maheenshayanae Wardobe for Supporting Talent: @faizruh x @fizzaejaz96_ Hair & Makeup for Faris Shafi: @shetty.stylist Hair & Makeup for Supporting Talent: @narjistaqi_salonspa Focus Puller: @saleemanwar127 Ronin Operator: @bilal_kaleem_1 Jimmy Jib Operator: @amjad.tanoli09 DIT: @xirzakhayyam Camera & Lenses: @kenneyzrentalgear Gaffer: @bilalshahgee7 Lighting & Grip Equipment: @cameo_films_ Stills Photographer: @snaqvi BTS Videographer: @vikash.karera Music Director: @abdullahkasumbi VO Artists: @sharumkisketchbook x @saadhayat Editor: @alikhandurranii 3D Artist: @mustafa24khan Colourist: @wahabdanka VFX Supervisor: @osamakhalidcg Post House: @postfusionofficial taken in How Do You Like Them Apples? by @abidrizv

BTS from the Sets of 'Aag Lagay Basti Mein'. The basti we created in the film was actually a blend of multiple locations brought together as one. One of them, Narayanpura, turned out to be the most challenging, packed with people and constant crowds. Managing crowd control was a task on its own, and handling two major stars @mustafafahad26 & @mahirahkhan in the middle of it all felt like a feature within a feature. But in the end, it’s exactly what made that day so memorable and fun. taken in Narayanpura by @abidrizv

CAN'T THANK THESE 2 LEGENDS ENOUGH FOR TRUSTING ME TO SHOOT THIS FILM 'AAG LAGAY BASTI MEIN' AS DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY/CINEMATOGRAPHER!! Thankyou @mustafafahad26 for being a true legend on and off screen. I have yet to work with a star of your stature who carries such humility, warmth, and effortless wit, as you. No wonder the world absolutely loves you! Thank you for consistently believing in young voices like mine and @bilalatif, for seeing potential where others might not, and for leading with such a bold, visionary spirit. I can only hope I’ve lived up to your trust and done justice to this film! @mahirahkhan ! Truly one of the kindest, most gracious and grounded people I’ve had the privilege to work with. It still feels surreal, going from being a long-time admirer to actually being the one behind the camera shooting you. Watching you perform the way you did, giving your all in every moment, every take and seeing the way you constantly pushed yourself to new limits was nothing short of inspiring. And yet, you bring on set the calmest, warmest energy, with such effortless positivity. Forever a favourite. No surprise you’re the star that you are. Still feels unreal getting to work with the two mega stars of my country on my very first film! The energy they bring, their absolute command over the craft, and the depth of their experience is something I’ll carry with me forever. Watching them effortlessly transform into Barkat and Almas, shifting into such intense, grounded performances was nothing short of incredible. Also I'd like to add, despite shooting it, everytime I watch 'Aag Lagay Basti mein' I notice newer things in both of your performances and I find something extraordinary everytime. Certain expression, some improvisation, certain action, that just adds layers to your characters and that is what seperates you both from everyone else! It’s no surprise the film is already making history with its record-breaking opening! I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Forever grateful!
