Iris turned 100; I styled my first September cover, and we’re both back in NY, so I think we’re doing alright ❤️

When asked about aging in an industry that’s obsessed with you, Apfel says “I think it’s foolish for women to hide their age and try to say they’re years younger than they are. It doesn’t make any sense to me. I think if God is good to you and gives you those years, you should celebrate them and not try to hide them.”
