Join our beans Abi and Liv on a day-in-the-life with Lumina Intelligence as they head out into London on the always delicious, and highly anticipated, Food Study Tour.

From Sri Lankan street food to Japanese Miso Sandwiches, Katsu Curries and London’s bagel hotspot to a sweet cookie finish, this looked like a wonderful day of eats!🥯🍜

Holy Carrot! This was good.
After a long day of sightseeing London’s landmarks, which we hadn’t done for many years, Mum & I headed to Sloane Square to check out this 100% plant-based restaurant.
Buffalo oyster mushrooms with ranch 11/10 (convinced this was Frank’s 🤪). Glazed tofu with red pepper & peanut sauce 10000/10 this was unbelievable, I never knew tofu could taste so good 😂. Purple potato croquettes with basil mayo 6/10, too dry & tasteless, however the waiter gave us extra avocado dip which ended up making them 7/10😄. Selection of Maki 7/10, but the ponzu sauce was DELICIOUS - 100/10. Vietnamese green roll 7/10 just a little dull but the peanut sauce 9/10. To finish, even though we were far too full to move, Bramley apple pie with cinnamon & spiced frangipane & frozen coconut yoghurt 9/10. And a gorgeous rich red wine to accompany 🍷
The service, presentation & vibes were top notch too 😝

Mum’s fabulous birthday meal 🦚

Peach & Ginger Highball 9/10, Pineapple Sour 9/10, K-Pop Passion cool fire flames but tasted 4/10 - definitely not worth £15 😂, Beijing Sling 8/10, Caramelised Pineapple Cooler 7/10

We ordered FAR too much but at least I have a lot to review (and a great next-day lunch)😆
Flamed Edamame 9.5/10, Steamed Edamame 9/10
Crispy Duck Salad with Mango 8/10 - needed a little extra something something, Prawn Tempura 9/10, Gochujang Glazed Fried Chicken 10/10 - we ordered 3 portions it was that good.
THE GOCHUJANG SAUCE 1000/10 INCROYABLE🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 i could probably drink it by the bottle.
Spinach & Mushroom Gyoza with Ginger & Truffle 10/10 flavours were perfection, Glazed Japanese Mushroom Chilli Noodles with Cashew 7.5/10 nice but needed more flavour, Hot & Sour Plum Chicken Cashew Curry 9/10, Chilli Noodles 5/10 pretty boring & little flavour
Seared Wagyu Beef with Barbecue Glaze Roll Sushi 9/10, Ivy Volcano Roll with Wagyu Beef, Fatty Tuna & Black Truffle Sushi 9/10
