praise the Lord for his faithfulness and persistence in pursuit of me <3

i’ve wanted to be baptized for a few years now but i didn’t have the church home in college. i was always hesitant & focused on finding the “perfect time.” in reality, any time would’ve been the right time but the Lord had a special discipleship relationship & body of people to witness the public declaration i was going to make. i moved to Memphis & began a discipleship relationship with Lindsey. i met her for the first time at coffee and as i sat down i felt like the Lord told me “she’s going to be the one to baptize you.” the rest is history.

these people and this place have been such a GIFT from the Lord. i could go on and on about the Lord’s faithfulness and his deep care for my desires. thank you Jesus for Memphis, this church, and these people!!! taken in Mission Church by @abigail.c.grace

i finished my first half-marathon!!

running has been one of the biggest joys to me this year. it’s given me a priceless community through @hyperfocusrun and pushed my body & mind past limits i thought possible. i have never been more proud of my body and what it can do with hard work and dedication. thank you Jesus for the ability of movement!!! what a deep joy it has been to do hard things with people i love!!! & Lord willing, a marathon in 2026!!! :) by @abigail.c.grace
