The Mouth Forgets, out now. I started writing these poems when I was young because I didn’t know how else to survive the things I couldn’t say out loud. I kept writing them through every version of myself that followed throughout the years. They started as the quiet artifacts of a girl trying to make sense of the world, and slowly became a record of how innocence shifts, fractures, and refuses to disappear completely. This book spans a decade of my life. From private teenage journal pages, to poems written just months ago. I never imagined those pages would become something I could hold in my hands. It feels a little like opening a time capsule and a ghost story at the same time. If you read it, thank you. If you share it, thank you. If you’ve been here while I built this life and this book at the same time, thank you most of all. It means more than I can explain to know these pieces of my girlhood get to exist outside of me now.
