Let your boldness be the light that sets others free , they need to see your fullness, to dance in glee. Remembering what's inside, they can no longer deny the essence that beckons to be an expression 🌕🌹

That can set you free
As it helps you to see

Day 4 🌹

This poem poured through me in March, walking through the beauty of snow. Reflecting on seasons and divine light. Watching the sun twinkle through the trees like dancing angels.

But then, an inner voice whispered
"don't post it".

The voice of judgement.
The inner critic.
I didn't like my lipstick or the way my teeth looked.

What started as a moment of beauty and inspiration became one of self judgement and contraction.

Maybe underneath all of that, that moment itself was the gift.

To let the icy shield of protection, melt softly Into compassion.

To share the truth of my heart exactly as it is in the moment.

It's not about perfect lipstick - it is about sharing the gift of art. The messy. Imperfect. Human love.

I am choosing love.

Today, the news reported that Ruth Ellis has been posthumously pardoned, 71 years after becoming the last woman to be executed in Britain.

Last year, to mark 70 years since her death, I opened Ruth Ellis with a poetry prayer-formance as"The woman in a red dress"' archetype. A community production by The Glade Theatre Company, at The Magdala - the pub where the shots were fired.

Together, through poetry, music and performance,
We retold her story through the eyes of love. Rather than condemn and judgement, we sought the story that lay underneath. The humanity of Ruth as a woman, a daughter, a mother.

Standing in the room, I was reminded just how little we know about the depths of someone's inner world. Only what they reveal to us.

Art can expand our capacity for compassion.
Tapping one layer deeper. Revealing diffrent ways of seeing.

SHE IS HERE...

She is always here

When you pause the chatter of the mind

And listen deeply

To

The

Hum

Of life

Day 1 of 🌹Hot Womb-am summer🌹
I AM the pulse of life. I AM untamed. I AM raw. I AM

For the next 30 days, I am giving myself space to play & express. To be joy. To savour delight. To be love. I will be sharing a piece of art straight from my heart every day. Free flow poetry. Less editing, less over thinking and more showing up.

Where it doesn't need to make sense to the logical mind.

Don't get me wrong , I love a good strategy, utilising the genius capacity of the brain. Having achieved a 1st class business degree, having helped others to find their confidence and voice to rock the stage and doing consultancy. I Still have a few gorgeous creative clients behind the scenes - building sustainability in a way that feels yummy, alive and alligned.

Yet, I have been waiting for the right moment to post. To have it all figured out before I show up. Silencing my art, diluting my expression and waiting for the breakthrough. Now... Something is subtly whispering to me that I will never have it ALL figured out, for that is not the point of life's mystery. I will figure more out by playing the game, by dancing to the rhythm of life in devotion. By saying YES over and over again to my soul, with alligned action. So, for the next 30 days, I give my soul space to breathe, be and express - without needing to know where it will go. Subtly following the pulse of life with courage. Loosening the tight grip of my mind and finding the flow 🌊 by @abigailsauthenticessence
