It’s a good tutu…

And our photographer has a sense of humor (see last photo).

Happy 250th birthday to Jane Austen! Her books led me to join a Regency Society, which helped to connect me with JASNA to host a murder mystery for them, and she was the inspiration behind numerous Regency-Era mystery parties!
Now every year I get to live out my Jane Austen dreams and dress up like the ladies in her world. Thank you, Jane! by @abigailshaffer

What a privilege it was to be a part of The Theatre Guild of Webster Groves’ production of The Hound of the Baskervilles.

It was the perfect way to dip my toe back into theatre, meet some amazing people, and get to spend weeks working hard to make a show we were all proud of.

I’m so happy that I got to paint the set, help with hair, and even (as seen in the last photo), help put together the new AC unit we needed for the last day!

Thank you to the cast and crew, Brentton who came every night, and everyone who attended the show (I’m so sorry if you came while the AC was broken!).

So happy to have @adventuringartista fly in all the way from VB to come see me and my play! We had such a great time at @longrowlavender and St. Charles! Then, she helped out at the theatre while I got ready for opening night! Thanks to @brentton_fuller for coming to see the show and snapping that great photo of our set!
Come and see us tonight, Sunday, and Fri-Sun next week! by @abigailshaffer

I have never been more pleased at the end of a ballet recital—and it’s all because of @spressions and his incredible classes. We are all going to miss him so much. Thanks is also due to the most amazing class mates ever! @carleyflower94, Zanetta, @mattingly_will, @tourjete32, @salagna522, @amylouise560, Grace, Dani, and @kimquebe, I am so honored to get to dance with you all! What a privilege and a delight. by @abigailshaffer

@brentton_fuller and I got to take our first big vacation together—just the two of us! We really enjoyed Miami! We made sure that we spent some time at the beach every single day—but we also got to go out and explore a little too. I loved getting to visit 2 different tea rooms. My beach-meter has been refilled for a bit—and I’m still enjoying my tan. by @abigailshaffer
