Training day with coach

Sage is using Franklin c45 Paris Todd edition today since her usual paddle has ALW’s auto (so need to buy a new one without auto to use). ;p by @abigailtin

Sage with @anna.leigh.waters :)
She was so star struck that when ALW offered a fist bump, Sage tapped with her paddle. Lols she didn’t even recall doing it until she saw the video.

Hopefully she will be as good as her when she grows up.

Glad I was able to steal this person away for a few hours. 15 year anniversary a few minutes ago (Oct 15). Just got too busy to post on time. Been too busy to actually arrange for anything other than a short dinner out.

Story of our lives lately. I guess that is what happens when you are at that age where building something together takes over being romantic.

It’s a T-shirt kind of day. by @abigailtin

Sage got to meet her idol @anna.leigh.waters in person. How rare a chance is this?! So we made sure we had her skip school today (‘cos priorities). Not to mention she is turning 10 in a few days, so this was kind of a birthday thing for her as well.

Thank you to @tobyclaudio of @tobyssports for letting Sage have this opportunity. Same goes to Balram of PSI Sports Inc. She loved every minute of it. It goes without saying that @jeffjefferson.tin is one proud daddy today too.

Wonderful event, and the whole @franklinpickleball team and Toby’s team were awesome. The atmosphere at the SM MOA Music Hall today was electric! And they made sure to give away tons of paddles, shirts, and balls. Great fan service all around!

We also got to gift some of our hopia goodies to @waters_pb . Hopefully they enjoy it.

Videos to follow. 🙂 by @abigailtin

Papasok palang sa afternoon class, excited na siya umuwi to build Lego. Although late announcement, buti nalang nag cancel ng classes due to heavy rain today. Parang pumasok lang siya sa school so the class could greet and sing him a birthday song. ;)

He built this firetruck we got for him this afternoon. Before that, he built the mini Lego bluey set from Matt & Reg (meron pa Bluey house still sealed). Last week he already built the sets Sage bought for him too. Medyo Lego ang life niya these days.

Sage temporarily escaped her assignments by baking his cake. So Hunter was pretty much not allowed to go anywhere near the kitchen, to keep it a surprise. He thought she was just baking him some cookies.

He turned 6 today. Scrawny but toned arms from playing pickleball. Been humming a lot lately too (whatever Jade and Sage sings). He is weirdly faster with subtraction than addition. He reads better now too, less guessing. His farts are still vibranium quality. Still malambing, demands a lot of hugs, and can’t manage to sleep without me by his side.

Hunter, my love, hope you will stay as sweet for a bit longer. You will always be my pogi boy. :) by @abigailtin

She’s 13!

First order of the day was to eat at our favorite Japanese restaurant (Sushi Ninja at Westgate Alabang). Kahit malayo, it is always worth the drive, and forever worth the calories. Hahahaha! They even surprised Jade with a birthday cake. :)

Lunch was then followed by a short trip to Festival Mall (Jeff had a work related side quest). Once we were done there, we headed to Rockwell to watch Toy Story 5 (awesome movie btw) and visit our usual stops (Toys r us, Fully Booked, Common Room, Cibo, and etc). Although she did not get the Smiski she wanted, she was able to find this old computer monitor looking speaker from Toy r us- back story, she wanted to buy it a year ago, but decided not to, and has been regretting not buying it then (I know, because she’s always mentioned it when we go to the toy store). So I got that for her.

Today she says we were able to do all of the stuff she wanted for her birthday. Trip to Japan nalang ang kulang. Hahahaha

We capped off an awesome day with a pleasant trip down memory lane, courtesy of Facebook Memories. The car ride home was filled with mini stories of how we celebrated her birthdays before, and stuff we wanted to say out loud, but maybe forget to when we get busy.

To make sure we remember, these are so far the stuff she likes to do and say:
- “anoh tuh-rah, gusto mo soon-too-kan tayo?” Hanggang ngayon wala pa ring nangyayaring suntukan.
- shrieks when Hunter gives her a hug
- shrieks when Jeff gives her a hug
- loves to doodle anime faces
- will eat sushi, balut, black chicken or similar food, in exchange for Valorant skins
- shrieks a lot when playing on her dad’s laptop
- has great taste in music
- is finally kikay
- loves midnight snacking

Dearest Jade,

We love you and all your different versions. As you get older, we hope you never lose your weird and fun side. :) And in whatever you do, you can always count on us to support you.

Love,
Daddy, Mommy, Sage, and Hunter by @abigailtin

Hunter’s first gold medals (Pre-K), and he had to be absent cos of last night’s fever. As for Sage, she received a silver medal and a conduct award (G4); nacomplete na raw niya lahat ng colors ng medals. Summer Vacation officially begins tomorrow. :) by @abigailtin
