Got to see @sbcrispell and @claireschltz today! We're all Americans, we met in 2022 in Scotland, and now they both live here and I'm visiting. Of course we forgot to take pictures of ourselves, but fortunately we took pictures of the amazing chocolate at the chocolate Cafe! by @abigailwelborn

I stayed outside about 5 mosquito bites, I mean minutes, too long tonight. 😭 🦟 Florida really isn't meant for human habitation. But it's so nice to wear sundresses 8 months out of the year! (pick from mid May) by @abigailwelborn

I'm going to try to get off social media for Lent again this year (except Sundays). I'm going to add YouTube, too. (I guess that is technically included but for me it's not social?) I have serious FOMO, but the more I read about short-form videos, the scarier they get! I feel like they're not just a time waster for me—I worry that the dopamine dysregulation is actually making me not want to read books. I don't look forward to picking up a book anymore. And I don't think I want to be the kind of person who doesn't WANT to read. Who can't even read a magazine article straight through without skimming. But seriously, the FOMO. What if I miss a funny viral video?! So this Lent is to remind me that an attention span is worth having. See you Sunday, maybe! by @abigailwelborn
