POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Over the past year, I’ve been carefully curating a portfolio that reflects both my technical ability and design style. This process has been incredibly challenging but ever rewarding.

As I approach graduation I’d like to reflect on my journey as a design student over the past four years:

I chose the Graphic Animation and Design program on a whim the night before classes started my freshmen year. I’ve always had a knack for painting, drawing and any other hobby that included being creative. Graphic design has given me the ability to combine these traits and find my passion for editorial and motion design. My hopes for the future include continuing my self-initiated Zine, and prospering within my niche aesthetic. Thank you so much to my peers and faculty for continuing to support me through this journey! by @abigayletorricodesign

This past month I had the opportunity to work as the lead designer for The Quran Jenkins Talk Show!

As host, @thequranjenkins tasked me with creating a branding system centered around community and creativity. The show- taking place in Orlando, Florida- is meant to uplift the voices of the city and highlight its soul. Quran’s show had segments such as exciting Orlando news, interviewing local stakeholders, and even a live performance by @thestoudemires!

This project was an amazing opportunity to explore my branding abilities and apply them to a live production. Thanks again to Quran and his amazing team!
