day 11: dream con recap ♡

i went as maki (before her transformation) from jjk. dream con is an all black anime convention that i attend every year with my younger brother ♡

consistency > perfection, every single time ♡

ps: i’ve decided to stretch out the sọ̀rọ̀ sókè series.

learning a language isn’t linear, and it definitely can’t be mastered in just 30 days. i want to spend more time absorbing each new concept instead of rushing to meet a deadline.

Sọ̀rọ̀ Sókè Phrase Bank:

Mi ò lè… → I could not… (negative of Mo lè… = I can / I was able to…)

ṣe fídíò → make a video (ṣe = do/make)

nítorí pé → because (used before a full sentence)

ọjọ́ náà → that day

dí púpọ̀ → became very busy (dí = become)

Ní ọjọ́ yẹn → On that day

Mo ní láti… → I had to…

fò ọkọ̀ òfuurufú → fly (work) a flight (literally “fly an airplane”)

mẹ́rin → four

Ṣùgbọ́n → but

nítorí → because of (used before a noun)
