POSTS STORIES REELS

Dear Miss Blossom,

It’s been 30 days since you crossed the rainbow bridge and the days have felt longer than ever.

I hope that you, Bubbles, and Buttercup (kitty) have found each other. They haven’t seen you since you were just a puppy.

The first 2 weeks without you, I found myself still rolling down the back left window for you to watch the world during my daily commute. I even had to stop myself from hunting for corner parking spots that helped you jump in and out of the car easier.

I still wake up every morning hoping to see your ears perk up and your tail start swinging side to side. I still go to bed hoping that it’s all just one really long bad dream and everything will be back to normal.

Slowly trying to find my new normal without you has been so incredibly difficult. Every little message & visit from you has made each step just a touch easier— From butterflies flying by to opportunities to help others.

Ive been avoiding our usual after work spots. It doesn’t feel right to be there without you. Although I know you’ll always be with me, I hope you understand.

Love,

Abi

Yes, Chef 🔪 @hellskitchen 6.5/10

- Lobster Risotto: Delicate flavors, lobster cooked well, risotto too starchy
- Crispy Pork Belly: Plating >>, hella crispy, maybe a touch too gamey
- Beef Wellington: This was not it chef.
- Pan-Seared Scallops: Perfect sear, lightly seasoned
- Sticky Toffee Pudding: Best bite of the night
- Service: More casual than I thought it would be?

valentines and LNY weekend in Vancouver 🥰 by @abimhn

What I learned in January:

- always say yes to the airbnb trips
- I need an ungodly amount of sun protection
- I have hit the jackpot with my friends & coworkers
- tortoises in planet zoo will overpopulate to the max
- it’s okay to ask for help (shoutout my psychiatrist & therapist) by @abimhn

Happy New Year💚

To my friends & family:

I am so grateful for the people I’ve gotten to reconnect with this year as well as continue those relationships that have kept me going for years. I am beyond thankful to have been able to visit and embrace my family that I haven’t spoken to in over a decade.

I hope that all of these relationships continue to be vibrant & grow in life with me. I hope that each individual I’ve met & connected with finds the amount of peace or motivation they need to achieve their goals.

To my future self:

You probably remember 2025 as the year where your world stopped spinning.

I know you struggle constantly with seeing life in images. I hope that by the time you’re re-reading this you’ve learned to overwrite the images that cause sadness with those that remind you of pure joy.

Blossom passed in an unexpected way the day you were moving into a more comfortable home just for her. I hope you’ve gotten past the nightmares & truly only remember the best moments you shared with her.

Even now that seems to be the only overwhelming memory of this year for, but through all of that you still managed to navigate so many almost dead-end side quests.

You won a small claims case against Greystar Housing, you found your footing after the hospital you worked for was closed down by corporate, you became Yelp Elite, you started going to therapy again without SSRIs or lithium this time, you learned to take more risks & live more in the moment, and you even started to *maybeeeeee* get a teeny bit better at replying to messages (but maybe not).

The biggest step you took this year was learning to be more vulnerable and standing by your boundaries while letting others learn about theirs & supporting them through it.

To Blossom:

I really hope you know how much I love you. Living life without you is the most difficult thing I’ve endured in this last decade. by @abimhn
