Many of us are chained down by past experiences. Some of us feel like we can’t move, no matter how long ago the trauma was so many of us are told to be quiet instead of using our voices that God gave us to speak up. At the end of the day it is never about tearing other people down, but it is about allowing God to get the glory even after facing adversity. Imagine how many people you can encourage or motivate by simply speaking your truth and giving your story?!👀

Sometimes we as people can even be the very person or thing that has changed people’s lives for worse. It’s not up for rebuttal or debate. The greatest thing we can do is own up to it and work hard to never allow anyone to experience the same version of us again.

Whether you land on either side of the board, the ultimate goal is to always be able to look in the mirror self reflect and see what role we play in things, what we can do to make things better, and put the work in to not carry those generational curses with us.

Proverbs 28:13 — Whoever hides their sins will not prosper, but the person who confesses and forsakes them receives mercy.
