Happy Birthday The Queen Farida 🎉🎂 🎊 ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Today, I celebrate grace—another year of becoming everything I prayed for and discovering parts of myself I never knew existed.🥹🙏❤️

This past year stretched, taught, humbled, and surprised me, reminding me that even in uncertainty, God remains faithful. I think about that quiet night earlier this year when I sat alone in my dim room, the soft glow of my bedside light casting shadows as a distant car briefly broke the silence. My heart felt heavy, my thoughts tangled, and tears slipped down my face as I whispered to God, unsure of what to say but needing to be heard.

At first, the silence felt overwhelming, but then something shifted—a gentle calm settled within me, steady and reassuring. In that moment, without answers or clarity, I felt held, reminded that I wasn’t alone.

I am grateful for the wins, the lessons, the delays that later made sense, the doors that opened, and the ones that stayed shut for my good.

Here’s to growth that isn’t always visible, prayers that became testimonies, and dreams still unfolding. 🥂

To more laughter that fills rooms, adventures that leave my heart racing, purpose that grounds me, joy that lingers, memories worth keeping, and moments that make me pause, breathe deeply, and say, “Look what God has done.”

Cheers to a new chapter and to the woman I am becoming. ✨🤍
Happy Birthday to me. 🎂🥂

I step into this year with intention and faith, unafraid of the unknown and committed to becoming all God has called me to be, trusting that everything meant for me will find me.🎊🙏

WORKPLACE SERIES — EPISODE 3 👩🏽‍⚖️💼

Can your employer just reduce your salary because “things are hard”? 👀

You were earning ₦500,000, then suddenly your employer says it’s now ₦200,000. Can they do that?

In this episode of Law Made Simple, I break down what the law says about reducing an employee’s salary and what you should know before agreeing to a change in your pay.

Because sometimes, that “small adjustment” is actually a legal issue. 👀

Watch, share, and let me know what you think in the comments. ❤️

Can your boss just fire you? 👀

The short answer is… it depends. 😭

And because there’s quite a bit to unpack, Episode 1 of Law Made Simple: The Workplace Series is a little longer than usual — 15+ minutes, in fact. 😂

In this episode, I’m breaking down termination of employment and answering the question: can your employer simply wake up one morning and decide that you’re no longer needed?

If you’re an employee, about to become one, or just want to know what the law says about your rights at work, this is one you definitely want to watch.

So grab a drink, settle in and let’s talk about your job, your rights, and what happens when your boss says, “We need to talk.” 😭😂

Episode 1 is up! Welcome to the Workplace Series. ⚖️🤎

I’m taking Law Made Simple to the workplace. 👀⚖️

Welcome to the Law Made Simple: Workplace Series — a new series where I’ll be breaking down the laws that affect us as employees and employers, in a way that is practical, relatable and, of course, SIMPLE.

Because there are so many things that happen in the workplace that we’ve become used to without ever stopping to ask:

“Wait… is this actually what the law says?” 👀

Well, we’re about to find out.

Episode 1 is up TODAY. 🥳⚖️

I’m excited about this one. Come along as we make sense of the law, one workplace issue at a time. 🤍
