What an incredible time at Abled Athletes Camp at North Rockland! 🏀⚾️🏃‍♀️

Our athletes had an amazing time moving, playing, learning, and most importantly—having FUN! 💙 We love creating an environment where every child can participate, feel successful, build confidence, and discover what they’re capable of.

From teamwork and sports skills to friendship, laughter, and plenty of high-fives, this camp was all about celebrating every ability and every athlete. 🙌

🌟🏃‍♀️ Field Day Fun with NAMI Rockland! 🏃‍♂️💦

What an incredible afternoon creating and implementing a Field Day for NAMI Rockland’s Summer Splash Bash! 💙

Abled Athletes and Sullivan’s Sensory Shop @sullivanssensoryshop teamed up to create an afternoon filled with movement, sensory fun, teamwork, and LOTS of smiles! From an exciting obstacle course to splash pad activities and sensory-inspired challenges, we designed activities that encouraged every child to participate, move, explore, and most importantly—HAVE FUN! 🎉

We absolutely loved bringing our two worlds together—inclusive sports + sensory play—to create an experience where every child could feel successful and included. 💙

A huge thank you to NAMI Rockland for allowing us to be part of such a wonderful event and for everything you do for children and families in our community! 🚀

🏓💚 What a dill-lightful start to our time at Camp Kipanga! 💚🏓

During our first week of camp, the Abled Athletes team had an incredible time introducing campers to the exciting game of pickleball! Through engaging drills, fun games, and plenty of encouragement, campers learned the basics of serving, rallying, teamwork, and good sportsmanship—all while staying active and having a blast.

Our mission is to create opportunities for every child to build confidence, develop new skills, and experience the joy of sports in an inclusive and supportive environment. Watching campers encourage one another, celebrate their accomplishments, and embrace a new sport made this week so special.

Thank you, Camp Kipanga, for welcoming us! We loved sharing the game of pickleball with your amazing campers and can’t wait to be back on the court again soon. 🏓☀️💙

🏀Nothing but net at Camp Kipanga!🏀

What an incredible week of basketball with Abled Athletes! From dribbling and passing to shooting and exciting team games, our athletes brought energy, determination, and enthusiasm to the court every single day.

Throughout the week, we focused on building basketball fundamentals while also strengthening confidence, communication, teamwork, and sportsmanship. It was amazing to watch athletes encourage one another, celebrate each other’s successes, and step outside of their comfort zones with big smiles and positive attitudes.

At Abled Athletes, we believe sports are about so much more than the final score. Every pass, every shot, every cheer from a teammate, and every moment of perseverance helps build confidence that extends far beyond the basketball court.

A huge thank you to Camp Kipanga for another fantastic week of fun, friendship, and unforgettable memories. We are so grateful to be part of your summer and can’t wait to see everyone again!

Dominic brought the ENERGY to his session with Coach Plant this week at Abled Athletes! From the moment he stepped on the floor, he was smiling, moving, and ready to work.

His energy was contagious — sprinting, competing, laughing, and giving 100% effort in every drill. That’s what growth looks like. That’s what confidence looks like.

Coach Plant did an incredible job channeling Dominic’s enthusiasm into skill-building, focus, and success. When passion meets the right coaching, amazing things happen.

Abled Athletes campers at North Rockland got moving with a super fun and active game called “Bulldozers and Construction Workers!” 🚧👷‍♂️

The game challenged campers to listen carefully to instructions and step into their role—either a bulldozer (knocking cones down) or a construction worker (picking them back up). Once it was time to go, it was teamwork in action! 🦺💪

With cones flying up and down across the gym, the campers worked together, stayed focused, and laughed their way through this innovative game. 🌟 It was the perfect mix of listening, movement, collaboration, and fun—and they absolutely had a blast! 🙌⚡️

🎯 Learning Through Play with Abled Athletes!

This week, Abled Athletes has been running an immersive, hands-on seven-day camp in partnership with the North Rockland Central School District at Fieldstone Middle School. Campers are running, throwing and scooting with guidance from our coaches, all while building skills, confidence and new friendships. 🏀⚽🥏🛴

At #AbledAthletes, our mission is simple: empower children of all ages and abilities through personalized, adaptive sports instruction in a supportive and inclusive environment. Each day’s routine is designed for every child to shine, try new activities and unlock their potential.🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

🌟 Abled Athletes Camp is off to an AMAZING start here in North Rockland! 🌟

Our first two days have been packed with fun, smiles, and movement as our campers explored all kinds of sports and activities. From zooming around on scooters, to creative ball games (yes—even epic “snowball fights” with yarn balls ❄️🧶), we’ve been keeping the energy high!

Campers also got moving with hula hoops in new and unique ways, stretched their bodies to “make pizza” 🍕, played soccer ⚽, and even took on a giant-sized beach ball 🌊🏐.

The best part? Watching our athletes try new things, encourage each other, and have an absolute blast while staying active! 💪💙
