I’ve been having some fun this week experimenting with larger scale paper pieces so I can utilise a few larger scale prints to make these flower blocks… loving all the Kaffe brights! I stitched a couple more for my Sunday sewing time this afternoon after a lovely morning out and about with Quilty friends 😍

I think both fury family members approve of my ‘Charm Bubbles’ mini project 😍

These fab little EPP blocks have stitched up so quickly! So happy to have finished joining them all together today for my Sunday Stitching time 👏👏👏

Lots of progress this week on my ‘Charm Bubbles’ mini project with the fab Memento by @carolynfriedlander and @rubystarsociety Speckled 😍
These little EPP blocks are charm square friendly and have been super quick to stitch up… just a few more to go and I can finalise the layout and stitch them all together 👏

September 2026

Spring is here! And although August passed in a flash… I made some good progress on my Dots & Crosses & Sweet Sixteen EPP quilts!!
I also finished the binding on my Square in a Square Quilt, pieced ooodles of teeny HSTs and added a few blocks to my kaleidoscope quilt block pile!! Let see what September will bring 😍

Sunday sewing!! I’ve been waiting so (or not so) patiently for @carolynfriedlander ‘s new Memento x RSS collection… so was super excited to be able to grab a gorgeous 5” charm pack Friday from @kimzsew so I could start my charm square friendly EPP pattern this weekend! I’m also absolutely loving how well the designs team with @iamrashidacolemanhale Speckled range 😍 Technically this is not a new project… just a quick mini side project to satisfy the creative itch…

I decided to give my Kaffe Kaleidoscope Quilt blocks some attention this afternoon… and I’m happy I did - The stack is growing!!
So enjoyable to get back into these blocks, especially when they were prepped and ready for stitching! One of the reasons I love English paper piecing is that I can have a selection of different projects on the go at various stages - fabrics cut and/or basted and/or ready to stitch for when the mood takes me 😍 Joining Larisa @stitchingnotes and Irina @nordiccrafter for #sipteaandepp

Settling in for some slow stitching this evening after a lovely morning @kimzsew teaching my EPP & fussy cutting class! I always feel so inspired sharing the fussy cutting fun with newbies and seeing my regular students progress their individual projects. The peacock block was today’s demo sample using the Jewel shape! (There’s also been yummy pizza for dinner 😍) Joining in for #saturdaynightcraftalong with @barefootcrafter and all the lovely creatives out there 🩷
