◎ Senso-Ji, Tokyo - Japan 🇯🇵 World Voyage ◎

I decided to come back here and post some stuff for you despite my complete lack of interest in photography lately.

During the Golden week I managed to visit #Tokyo, celebrating the new era #Reiwa!

◎ Sakura Trees - Hakodate, Japan 🇯🇵 World Voyage ◎

One of the most beautiful parks I've have ever seen in Japan. Full of cherry blossoms in bloom, people having fun on picnic with friends and family. Such a pleasant peaceful afternoon I had!

◎ Kinkaku-ji Zen Temple - Kyoto, Japan 🇯🇵 World Voyage ◎

I've been very grateful for all those places I've visited, specially shrines and temples.

The Kinkaku-ji is known as "Golden Pavilion", maybe the most iconic known place in Kyoto. Acquired by the Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu from the Saionji family around 1397, after passing away it was transformed into a Zen temple by his son. Burnt down during the Onin war and reconstructed in 1955 the whole pavilion is covered in gold-leaf based on the original building and that's where the name "Kinkaku" is derived.

Despite the absurd crowd, the sight is delightful and pleasant to the eyes. Top 10 places I've ever seen in Asia! taken in Kinkaku-ji by @abnercestari

An extension of the Higashiyama Chay #GeishaDistrict a Shrine was built nearby with this incredible stone #buddha and some other incredible #landscaping and #gardening.

Oh guys... I finally arrived in #Japan! It's a dream come true for me, since I was a kid I dreamed visiting the land of the rising sun for many reasons which I will share with you on my next posts. The first one is the culture and the lovely people that warmly welcome tourists. I managed to visit many places already (posted on my Instagram stories), but this one in particular was very interesting.

A #Chaya is an exclusive type of restaurant where guests are entertained by #Geisha who perform song and dance. During the Edo Period, chaya were found in designated entertainment districts, usually just outside the city limits. Kanazawa has three, well preserved chaya districts, Higashi Chayagai (East), Nishi Chayagai (Western) and Kazuemachi.

The Higashiyama Chaya is the largest and by far the most interesting. Two chaya, the Shima Teahouse and Kaikaro #Teahouse, are open to the public. Other buildings along the central street now house cafes and shops. One of the shops, Hakuza, sells gold leaf products, a specialty of #Kanazawa, and displays a #TeaCeremony room which is completely covered in gold leaf.
