Think and Question!

#delhi #think by @abnormalnaari

Someone’s opinion on these videos was “Protests me jaoge toh yeh sab toh hoga hi”. This video is a reminder that taking a stand and showing up for a peaceful protest should not look like this!

Saddest part of it all is that none of this was surprising!

Six decades ago, a woman wrote this. Seven years back, I read it and immediately made a note of it in my journal.. hoping that someday it will loose its meaning for me and for all women..
But after all the effort we’re constantly putting in, just to survive and make space for ourselves, there’s an endless list of assault cases. Only a handful of these cases are covered by media.
And in 2026, our authorities (a woman leader rather) best solution to stop such cases and to safeguard women is to cage them!

💬 Women with athletic bodies are often labeled “masculine”… but seeing those comments hurled at a professional athlete like @smriti_mandhana was shocking.

🙌 Many called out the trolls, arguing that athletes are “supposed” to be muscular. True — but let’s not forget, every woman deserves to build muscle without being judged of their appearance. Strength training is the foundation for daily strength, graceful aging, and the best stress-buster out there.

🌸 Since childhood, we’ve been conditioned to believe women should be “flower-like” — small, thin, soft, fragile. Entertainment and ads reinforce this shrinking ideal every single day.

🔥 It’s time to break that narrative. Muscles aren’t masculine — they’re powerful, beautiful, and ours to claim.

And just like this colour, I’ve started appreciating beauty in things that I underestimated..
🌸 the calm of peace
💌 the power of good health
🫶 the gift of strong relationships
✨ the beauty of slowing down

What’s your version of “white”? 😊

Here’s why:
🤷🏻‍♀️There’s a difference between self care and being selfish.
🧐Protecting your time and energy isn’t selfish—it’s strategic, it gives you time to build habits that shape the rest of your life.
🌸Saying “no” helps to prevent burnout.
❣️Taking care of yourself first allows you to show up stronger for others.

I spent most of my life believing that pleasing and sacrificing were most common ways to build relationships. And that felt exhausting, even more so when life got complicated. It took a lot of unlearning to understand that when you start putting yourself first, mindfully, it makes you a better, more fulfilled version of yourself.
And I love this version of myself 🌸❣️

My exact thought when this picture was captured was that how, since childhood I’ve been fond of the paths untaken by the most, literally and figuratively 😃 .
Only a few years back I actually started walking on those paths, be it my travel destinations, adopt an ethical (most call it unconventional) lifestyle, choosing my partner, friends and people in my life.
I believe adjusting or accommodating shortcomings is a part of life, but now I also understand that it shouldn’t come at the expense of one’s ethics and peace, in that order (Because I believe whenever we trade off our ethics, sooner or later it costs us our peace).

What do you think about this? Would love to see more opinions in the comments 😇

Stay Tuned for more 🌸❤️

[Women, Travel, 2024, Nature, Thoughts] by @abnormalnaari

While learning to deal with my sudden fear of facing the camera, I befriended it by using it and how. 😇 Having used a professional camera for a few years, 2023 was the first year when I carried it, its lenses with me on 2 trips with full ownership, and how I loved it.
While fondly recollecting the memories from 2023, I have been going through last years snaps and realised I have so many stories to share, some just for fun, but some really important thought provoking ones.
Wish you all have a year full of gratitude, love, peace & prosperity. 🙋🏻‍♀️
Stay tuned. 🌸
